My son has a PS2 and I was thinking of getting him this game ( ok its for me too :) ) but if I get if will it play on his PS2 or will it have to have some Mod or chip added to play the game?

Fernando's Football Kingdom English Patch v0.002

Well i had some time to continue on the FK translation and here the result.

- Most Options and Pause menu Completed
- Some Stadiums Names
- ALL the National TEAMS names in English
- Like 2 or 3 Club names
- Stuff here and there

There's a lot to do but i will continue asap.
This one well worth a CD

I've installed the patch and the menus are mostly in english but the players' names are still in japanese.. what should i do? please let me know.. thanks

Delete your option file of Futbol Kingdom and all work fine... :)

I just learned that I have to use PPF-O-MATIC to patch the PPF file (Fernando) to the Bin image of the game! BUT, I am unsure how to delete the option file to make the names also appear in English!!!

Can someone help me out with this - This is my first attempt at patching a PS2 game (are there any other consideration I need to be aware of before buring the "Patched" image!

just go into your memory card browser on your ps2(without a game in ) and delete your football kingdom files !;)

How much different is Fernando patch 003 from 002?? I find the 002 patch covers most important menus except for a couple..
Is this the final patch, or should we expect another one?
