Here's how i do it

raise the arrow a small bit higher than where it is above the wall, and line it up to the corner opposite the keeper. use the shadow as a guide, not the coloured arrow.now let rip! if youre close to the box, hit about or less than 3/4 of the power, further out try to get it to the red. It'll dip in or scream into the top corner Curving is crap, cos theres no practice mode to figure it out properly...

i get about 60% of me free kicks this way...

Don't want to sound ARROGANT or anything. But almost every time I take free kicks I get them in and I do use curve. What I do, is curve the arrow around the wall, but move it, so the first part of the arrow is in the center of the wall. Then I unload the power bar and almost every time I get it so that the power looks like: [- - - - - - ] that and then the ball flys into the net. I have about 20 free kicks here, if you want I can zip them and send them to you, but I can't guarantee that they will work because the were taken with my created team, all of them except for the last 2.

Anyway, that's how I take them.

Also, I practice a lot because I do two players, but by myself and just get the other control and trip up my guy where I want to take the free-kick

Well here is one picture of a free kick I got earlier. Unfortunately I didn't save the replay. You can see where the ball ends up from the target and where it travels compared to where the arrow is. I don't usually raise the arrow any higher than it is, unless I am in close. You don't really need that much power if the arrow is raised, but in this case, the arrow is in the same position as it was, only there has been some curve added. The ball ends up in the middle of the net, not a really great free kick, but it was a goal. The ball didn't really travel that high either, But that was because the power wasn't looking like this: [- - - - -]. I have just made up the power bar on this screenshot, you get the point. I will post some more up soon.

This next one is probably the best free kick that I have ever done. (free kick number 13 in the replay pack that I sent earlier) Right up in the top corner of the net, only it was done with the left foot but that doesn't matter.

I can't remember how it was done exactly, but I think that the arrows may have been a but more to the left. It was risen up a bit, but not much, only 1 tap of the key, maybe not even, I can't remember. But I have done my best to redraw the picture. Hope it helps you out.

Here is another one. This one was a pretty good one, I have the replay if you want it. The screenshot came out a bit dung, but its ok. The arrow was once again only rotated, but this time I got some a better shot in. It ended up close to the net, the power was all the way to the top, looking really good, like this:

Here is the final one. It is a free kick that has been taken traveling along the ground. These are probably the easiest ones, but they look pretty cool and are realistic. I have moved the arrow onto the ground as low as possible, and curved it to the left of screen. You can see where I have moved is, so when the shot comes in the ball just misses the wall and flies past the keeper. The power button has been held until the power is in what I call the DOTTED mode. It looks sorta like this:

This is the most powerful and accurate combination kick you will get off of free kicks. Any less power and you will get more accuracy and any more power and the bar will just go red and disappear and the ball will go flying off into the crowd, most of the time.
