I'm sorry, but I can't let this one slip. It sounds to me, reading these boards, that the Turkish have a strong inferiority complex. Of course, I'm not generalizing it to the whole Turkish population, or all the Turkish members here at soccergaming, it's just an observation, looking at the responses here.

Why do I think that? Well, the need to prove that Turkey is not a bad place, the need to argue about every little thing that makes Turkey look slightly bad smells a lot like an inferiority complex. No, I'm don't have any kind of psychology degree, nor do I wish to sound like I know anything about personalities or things like that. As I mentioned before, it's just an observation and my own personal opinion based solely on the posts by some members here.

Before you ask, yes, I think there are fine examples of superiority complex in this thread. Not in the Turkish "side" though.

meh, I appreciate your observations are objective but I think you're missing a point.. each positive/negative criticism for Turkey is welcome when it is objective, and does not hide a hatred soul behind it.. Turkey is no heaven that's a fact.. for ex. someone wrote about Orhan Pamuk and he got a reasonable response.. but if things get "Shifty*reitzish" of course it'll get another kind of response..
