OK,I tried everything that is on beginning.It is better,but still a little bit of slowdown on some areas!

And one more thing!!!
I have my settings at 800,600,low detail.And game SPEED is very good,it is realistic,BUT! Game is running only about at 11-14 FPS. Ofcourse that is not very good.Sometimes I can play game how I want!
So,my problem: 800,600,low,good speed but low FPS.

I have GF4 MX 440
256 Mb RAM
1.0 ghz
Win xp
Drivers Detonator 41.09

What can I do?? (I tried diferrent settings and turning on/off V-sync)
Please help!!!

Game is fast enough,but it run like Max Payne 2 on 16Mb card and 1024 and full high detail.If you now what I mean.
So there is no slowdown just bad working.

you mean smth like: Matrix slow-motion effect? PES has just this kind of slowdowns and it won't run smoother on your spec I think (maybe on 16 bit color)

on cards from GF MX series PES will never run better than GF Titanium series, if it would, buying a new card wouldn't have no sense

I have a P3 800mhz, 256ram, GeForce 2 MX with 32mb card. Funny thing is, my system is well tuned and drivers are good for each piece of hardware, my desktop is 1024x768 and I play Windowed mode same res, Low details which I don't mind. On most of the stadiums speed is quite good. However I am getting slight slowdowns when lots of people crowd near the goal, not Matrix style slowdown, but speed slows a bit and sometimes it's annoying. If anyone has some good suggestions that would be great.

P.S.- I don't have to use 3d analyzer either... I tried using it yseterday and there was no real noticable effect (I didn't need it in the first place, game was playable).

the game runs fine 50-60 fps when middle of field but when there are lots of players(penalty box,corner),the fps drops to 30-35.in 640-400 medium

Yes that.No matrix slowmode,but a low frames per second at good speed on low mode!¨
What can I do,that the FPS will be all the same in any area at about 30 FPS!???

Much thanks to gimmie and cross21's posts. Your suggestions helped a lot. My situation is much like that of gimmie's.

My system spec:
Duron 1.08G(144*7.5)
256M SDRAM
Geforce2 MX100/200, 32M

It's low-end spec but now I have to managed to get my PES run like this(all tested mode):

640*480, low detail level, windowed: No slowdown
640*480, low detail level, full screen: 60f mid-field, 45-55fps goal area
640*480, medium detail level, full screen: 50-57fps mid-field, 35-50fps goal area
720*480, medium detail level, full screen: ditto
800*600, medium detail level, full screen: ditto

The result shows that resolution doesn't make much difference on my computer, while the detail level does matters.

What I've done and the improvements:
(The settings that, to my understanding, make any difference are followed by (*). The number of (*) shows how important it is.)

Initially the game runs at around 10fps at 640*480, low detail level, full screen, just the matrix effect.
->lower directX sound acceleration
->use rivatuner to set VSync to "off" (*)
->run "Hare", a multimedia opitimization software (*)

Now 30-50fps it is, but every time the game starts the performance is totally random. Sometimes not that slow, sometimes unacceptable. Fortunately I saw this thread.
->Load optimized Bios settings default
->Bios, AGP fastwrite on
->Better DRAM setting
->increase windows system virtual memory
->set text-filtering to high-performance(*)
->disable antialiasing(*)
->uncheck all compatibility settings
->maximize Mipmap LOD bias ajustment
->set desktop color to 16bit
->use 3DAnalyze, check the following options
->force z-buffer(**)
->disable two-sided stencil
->emulate HW TnL caps
->emulate other Dx8.1 caps
->remove shuttering quality mode
->force 16bit z-buffer without stencil(***)

Then I got the current performance.

What I have NOT done:
->double speed
->nVidia Refreshrate fixer

My detonator version is 42.01. I didn't turn on double speed in all of the above tests. The game seems not smooth with that, losing some frames. I really want to know whether or not if gimmie has used it. And having played with medium detail level for a while, I feel the game sucks without the shades and shadows. Will the refreshrate fixer help me to fix the goal area slowdown? I got a fear that it may screw things up.

I'm not gimmie! it's just display text which means : "(Konami) Give me a PES4! (coz it surely rocks more than PES3)"

you have similar spec to mine but less ram, I play double speed 1024x768xHighx16 bit smooth and I'm happy with it, I tried many many MANY tricks I found via net but only that works for me to be playable on this crappy card
double speed is rather some kind of frame skipper unfortunaltely

and what's it "Hare" ? I've searched google with "Hare + multimedia opitimization software" and but without effect (just "Hare" links me just to Hare Krishna pages ;-))

hare is made by dachshund software. My description may not be precise because I really don't know what kind of optimization it does to my computer. hare seems to be working only once in a while. try www.dachshundsoftware.comwww.dachshundsoftware.com

rivatuner->direct3D settings->mipmapping(the first tag)
i dragged to the right. cross21 is against this. but i made no difference by this setting, neither improved performance nor apparently lowered quality.

Yah, the nvidia Mx420 is a POS imo. I recently bought a Radoen 9200 and it works so much better in comparison to the previous graphics card that I used to have. These days graphic cards are much cheaper so get a good one while they are still on the shelves.
