Get rid of Motson & McCoist!!!

I really really wish they would do away with John Motson and Ally McCoist as the commentators in Fifa Soccer.

I would prefer some of the ITV crew or Sky Sport's Martin Tyler and Andy Gray.

Even better would be to have the choice - so if you are playing Champions League you can have the ITV mob and for Premiership games you can select Martin Tyler & Andy Gray.

It really bugs me having Motson every year - I hate his commentary now and McCoist is annoying.

Failing not having the choice I would like it to be Sky Sport's crew.

Is it just me that doesn't like Motson??

Yeah - well there lies the problem.

I wish they would try though - the ITV and SSports guys are brilliant. It would add another dimension to the game. Motson bores me ridged.

I have some older versions on PC but not 2002. I have an Xbox now. I remember RTWC 98 being quite good on the PC considering when it was.

I just looked it up - it's STILL John Motson but with Andy Gray.

I may have to mute the commentary on the Xbox so that I just have the atmosphere of the stadium. It's a shame cos I like commentory - it add's to the realism of the game....but I cannot bear Motson anymore!

i think the commentary improves every year - this years' is great - some glitches, but it is much more seamless!

Martin Tyler and Andy Gray would be a refreshing change.

I liked it in 99 when they had an array of commentators, i.e gary lineker and des lineham, etc, which was random

What i dont understand is why isnt there more commentary. If they used most of the script from 2003 (e.g. player names) they surely had more time to add better commentary i.e. GREAT GOAL BY BECKHAM!!!! (<---adding names in after-goal commentary).
Or they could have added more names for lower division players.

p.s. ally is annoying. No need for unrealistic commentary, are EA trying to be funny...im serious.

Why don't they ever record names for the goalkeepers? If Tim Howard (or any other GK) makes a great save, I'd like the announcers to acknowledge him.

The most annoying commentary bug is in the MLS career mode (maybe it's in others too). About 9 weeks into the season, the announcers will crown you league champion even if you're not top of the table. Then, everytime a shot goes wide or the GK allows one to get past they always reference the league champions as "not minding so much since they've already secured the championship" (or something like that).

Nah Motson and McCoist is OK for me, though more lines would have been appreciated. What would also be nice is more commentators and bringing back Gray!

I hate both of them, especially the one that replaced Andy Gray, i can BARELY understand him and they don't show any emotions. When you score a goal they act like nothing happened.

I wish they have the same entusiasm and emotion as Pablo Ramirez, the spanish guy from the Mexican League games

last year they have the GK's name files but we can't hear it in-game....it's GAYYYY
