First, thanks Wolf.
PES/WE is what it is, the best football simulation there is... but i think everybody agrees that with a good patch from Wolf, the satisfaction rises.
Now, let me give my opinion...
I laughed reading some posts is this topic... some guys seems to be near suicide 'cause Wolf is leaving! Come on....
There are other patchmakers you know? And even if there weren't, i for sure wouldn't change to FIFA 'cause of Wolf's lacking in the Pes community.
People complain about the fouls in WE9... at first it was odd, then i realized it... its more like real footbal, think about it. If you go after a player and put your hands in it, its a foul... so the game is moving accordingly. Try to defende without holding the X button all the time... voilá, less fouls. It will be difficulter to defend? So it is in real life without grabbing the adversaries
I don't give a **** to what game is better, if FIFA, if PES/WE... every year i try them both, and each year i choose PES. What if FIFA were better? GREAT! 'Cause that would mean that we had an even better game than PES.
I really don't understand the kind of attitude some people have in here with the rivality of the two games. There are people who wish the next incarnation of FIFA wont be better than PES... so they can say "PES is better, i play the better game, fifa sucks, bla bla"
I wish FIFA were better... and then i wish PES is better and so on.. that only means that im the one getting fun playing the games.
So in the end i think Wolf made the wrong decision, 'cause (in my opinion) FIFA 06 DEMO is way better than 05 and so on, BUT still no PES. And the things that made FIFA 06 better are copied from PES (I have nothing against that).
The most important thing to me is that since PES4 i play 90% of the game online.... and i dont miss patches that much cause of that.
Anyway i spent many many hours playing the game in the wonderfull Wolfs patches and is sad to see him go... but is also sad to see that he's not that big of a player.. cause a guy that changes from pes to fifa(even 06) can't be a PES trully lover

). I will not go into a debate. You know I do not agree with you about this. I have realistic gameplay so high as priority into a football game, even if it looks more boring to play. Reality is that football these days isn't that spectaculair anymore. I needed to getting used to the gameplay of WE9 and the more I played it, the more I understood how to play it.
