Gran Turismo 4

This game is going to be released (hopefully) on these dates:

Japan - January 07, 2004
USA - January 18, 2004
and most importantly . . .
Europe - February 27, 2004 :f***:

10 days earlier and it would've been my bday present.

Look at the screenies, it easily looks the best yet. Mmmmm, Nissan Skyline. There's meant to be a lot of cars too, like GT2, where you could buy cars in all shapes, sizes and powers. (remember the Demio or the midget II?) (H)

Sony are releasing a limited version of GT4 before Christmas in Japan. It will include four tracks and a number (which number I don't know;)) of cars to try it out. It will not include an online mode, though. It'll be in Japanese stores for a budget price.

Again: Japan.

So basically a larger demo that you have to pay for? I hate the Japanese, get all the games early :f***:

The rally looks amazing though. I have got all the games in the series and I can't wait for this one! (except GT Concept, that was crappy)

Yes, a demo with loads of cars, if you believe Sony. It'll cost about 20 Euros (in Yens obviously), so it'd better have some good stuff.

Looks fantastic, GT4 can't come soon enough. Although on the graphics front, EA's Need For Speed Underground looks amazing too!

Just ordered GT4 Prologue. Kinda an impulse thing but I could always trade it in if I'm skint when the full game pops along. £17 ain't much anyway. Didn't even know it was released in Europe but apparently it is.

My next load of student loan installments will be along by the time GT4 arrives anyway.

GT4 really needs to have some kind of car damage. I love the first 3 but the only problem I have with them is that you could be going full speed into a wall and you just bounce off it without a mark.

They said it will, but I don't think the Ps2 is capable as to have it in the extent of PGR 1 & 2 or Juiced.

GT4 won't have car damage, unfortunately. Though you will be given points or time penalties if you use another car to get around a corner easy or faster (ie not breaking and just using the other car to turn around a corner at higher speed)

i think its got something to do with car manufacturers not wanting people to see their cars wrecked
