maybe you have alot of programs running in the background, try tweaking your PC settings to reduce some of the
'unwanted' ones

Fifa 2004 will run ok on a 800 mhz procc... and will work fine with geforce2 cards.

Ive tested madden nfl on a p4 1.8 mhz with geforce 2 and it was damn great..

Guys who had glithes with 2003 did ya download your latest drivers ???

My Pc is 1.7 GH with 256 dd ram ... but the problem is that my 64 MB intel graphic card dont suppor T&L hardware ... if i didn't see the numbers on the fifa 2004 .. i guess i should buy a new one this year

That's 'cause your graphics card. It has very poor GPU and very, very slow RAM, so it can not run balanced with your hardware. The best solution for your problem is a new graphics card (do not buy GeForce 4 MX and FX 5200). I reccomend Radeon 9500 Pro or FX 5600 Ultra.
If you will buy ATi, be sure that you have newest drivers (Catalyst 3.7) and disabled vertical sync and force 16 bit textures.

For example, I have AMD Athlon Thunderbird on 1.2 GHz with 384 SD RAM and Gainward GeForce 4 Ti 4600 Ultra with 128 DDR softclocked on 310/680. FIFA 2004 is running very very smoothly on high level of details with 4 x FSAA and 4x Anisotropic Filtering.
The same thing is with other games like HALO, Chrome, NFL 2004, NHL 2004 and so on...

it's rather mid-budget card. I also have 5600 (but other producer)

What about my problem. I have a P4 2.68 ghz, 512 ram and a geforce 4 ti4200 and i had a very bad framerate but overall the game runned just fine. Notice that i didn't have this problem with other games just fifa 2003 ? I hope this issue won't come back in fifa 2004.
