Yea, people generally feel the success is undeserved. Whereas United were hated because they demolished everyone in their path. Arsenal were hated for being cocky. But no one ever argued that the success that they have is undeserved. Much like Liverpool of eariler days (and it seems, future days).

Chelsea fans can argue they sat through a barren period and their waiting is finally paying off, but then again, Fulham have waited too.

Completely agree, whether fair or unfair abuse, Chelsea are disliked for taking the easy route.

Man Utd were hated because their fans were twats (sorry :D ) and they really did demolish people on the way to victory, however, there was always bregudging respect for them, even from Liverpool.

Arsenal were only hated for being cocky, there is a LOT of respect for Wenger in the premiership.

Sorry Pete, but its the truth.

How dare you lot criticize Chelsea, the saviours of the Football, paladins of Justice, heroes of the World, the only club powerful enough to fight the G14 tirany, last hope of clubs throughout Europe?

I cant believe people are defending Gallas, the same Gallas that refused to play at Marseille because he was name at left back.

How things have soured, a few weeks ago I was calling for him to stay, but this is just so unprofessional.

I dont post here reguarly anymore so I dont see how I drone on, my post regarding Chelsea's lack of class is because of a number of incidents ever since your RUSSIAN SUGAR GRAND DADDY turned up.

There it is right there....the reason for so many haters displeasure.

As for me talking rubbish, well its not just me who has this opinion its the opinion of many people inside and outside of football.

All Chelsea fans I supopose

I felt like discussing this topic because this is a DISCUSSION forum so thats why im "waisting my time". I dont want to hear anything from you im simply stating my opinion on Chelsea's disgraceful attitutde

Thats fair enough, but at the end of the day theyt are YOUR opinions, and thats all they are.

Shifty its not about Chelsea setting the world alight. I am simply saying that we do not care about outside opinion.

Untouchable....Iam enjoying it mate. Attention positive or negative is still attention. :)

Ogsimon.....I never hated Man U while they ruled the roost. Or Liverpool. The reason people hate or hated Arsenal was not because of the football, it was because of the cheating.Stop kidding yourself.

Tom....see above mate. At the end of the day we have waited decades to be number 1. Now we are number 1, and really, anything negative anyone has to say, goes in one ear and out the other. Just not interested mate.

Kibe Kru....you are such a funny Liverpool fan........

Rob, if Ga££as did that to any other club, people would agree with you. He did it to Chelsea so in their sad little heads, he becomes a hero. Pathetic and so transparent.

Pede, it's not about being 'credible' to the 'hypocritical masses'. How about being credible to yourself?

Chelsea have acted rather childishly in this 'debacle', so why don't you just come out and say it. It does not affect your loyalty to your club, or your club's ability to dominate. I'm not going to get into why people hate Chelsea and so forth, because that has nothing to do with this incident, but criticising your club of handling a certain player should have nothing to do with the club's credibility.

And surely Chelsea does not need the attention - they have enough of it anyway. This cannot be why this debacle started in the first place.

I'm not even sure Galllas said this. It wouldn't be the first time Chelsea have told an outright lie publicly.

Remember when they "didn't tap up" Ashley Cole?

Tom....you are a gentleman mate

Kibe....thats ok, I dont expect you to understand anything.

Digi....Every Chelsea fan has already critisized Chelsea's (KENYON'S) handling of the Gallas affair, from as far back as a year ago when we all agreed that he should have been given a better deal, and generally treated better. I still think Kenyon was wrong to treat him as badly as he did. Sure Gallas has always been a whinger, we have always known that, but we believed that he had a case to answer. Kenyon didn't want to know until it was obvious that Gallas had had enough.By this time bad words had already passed between Gallas and Kenyon, resulting in Gallas refusing to play any more games for Chelsea.

The next game was the FA Cup semi final against Liverpool. Gallas was persuaded to play even though he was not happy to do so. Liverpool won that game, Gallas played like crap, and the winning goal went in off Gallas' head. Make of that what you will.

Approaching the summer of 2006, Gallas was offered everything he wanted, lots more money mainly. By then it was too late. He had decided rightly that Kenyon was a s.h.i.t and that he didn't want to stay at a club with a guy like that in charge. Who could blame him? Not the Chelsea fans thats for sure.

So fine, he says he wants out. Chelsea tell him that they want him to stay, but Gallas has his pride and he says "no thanks". So Chelsea tell him that if they recieve a good offer for him, then he can go, but until then he remains a chelsea player under a contract that he must abide by. Then comes the summer break.

Not one club comes in for Gallas. Not one. This frustrates Gallas even more because he thought every club in the world would fall over themselves to sign him. So to his hurt pride, now add a shattered ego. He is pissed big time.

During the World Cup,Tierry Henry tells him he should forget about going abroad and think about joining Arsenal who, he tells him, would be interested in signing him. Rumour has it that Henry and Gallas meet up with Wenger while they were all in Germany. Wenger tells him that Arsenal would indeed be interested and maybe could include Gallas as part of the Ashley Cole deal.
With the World Cup over, Gallas with his mind set on joining Arsenal, refuses to join up with the Chelsea players for their USA stint, citing tiredness.

He eventually returns to Stamford Bridge where he is asked to apologise to his team mates for letting them down. He refuses to apologise and then allegedly refuses to play for the club ever again, threatening to score an own goal or something similar if he is made to play. He tells the club that he wants to join Arsenal. Jose remembers the Liverpool game and decides that Gallas must be allowed to leave because he cannot trust Gallas any longer and his presence at the club is begginning to upset the other players too. Chelsea decide that he will be part of the swap deal for Cole.

The Gallas/ Cole deal gets done. That should have been the end of it. We the fans, not knowing what went on behind the scenes, and only having rumours and whispers to go by, began to blame Jose and Kenyon for completely messing up the situation. We were hoping at the time that Gallas would accept the deal offered and remain a Chelsea player. So the fans began asking the club questions, in the club forum, by email and through the fans panel. Still Chelsea said nothing.

If Gallas would have kept his mouth shut, we would never have found out anything about the finer details of his dreadful threats. Jose kept telling the press to insist with Gallas to give a press conference to explain why he was refusing to play for Chelsea but Gallas would not. So he moves on to Arsenal.

Then Gallas started slagging off the club, Jose and the fans. The next day he came out with more adverse comments. Chelsea then decided that the time was right to put the record straight. They informed the fans what transpired between Gallas and the club in those alleged conversations. The rest you know.

I believe that Chelsea were right to tell the fans the details of the Gallas saga. We had a right to know. We demamnded to know. The club gave in to our wishes. That is the right thing to do. That is what we wanted and we got it.

I would imagine that if any other club would have had this all happen to them, plenty of people would be supporting the club in question and at the same time voicing their disgust at the players behaviour. This is Chelsea and the hysteria surrounding Chelsea over any issue, has reached a ridiculous level now. It all started with Roman taking over the club and it increased as each week went by. Everything we did and anything we do is jumped on by the Chelsea hating media, which fuels the small petty minds of the Chelsea hating public. Its a shame but there it is.

So we are used to it. It's nothing new. Whatever we do will never endear us to anyone outside the Chelsea family. If the club would not have released their statement, we would still be targeted for something else, so thats why we do as we please. We owe nobody. We need nobody. If people want to support us in what we do then thats great. If not then thats great too. We do not ask for anything and we do not expect anything from anyone. Thats why all the critisism and the slagging off just goes right over our heads. We are immune to it and care not at all. If someone has a problem with Chelsea, then its their problem. We are not interested by it at all.

Concentrate on your own clubs and pontificate hypocritically over ours less. You waste your breath. We just do not want to know. Thats what annoys people the most I think. The fact that nothing can touch us. We are immune.

Arsenal....such a moral club huh?.......You are a hypocrite Bobby. Quite pathetic. :nape:

Remember when Wenger was not in South America NOT tapping up Baptista?

Wenger has shares in an african football academy that indirectly "feeds" Arsenal. He gets a payment for every player sold from that academy. Yes Fifa are looking into it, but I guess Dien will pay off Blatter and that will be the end of that.

There is an investigation in progress to substantiate the rumour that Wenger and Gallas spoke about joining arsenal during the World Cup. That is known as tapping up. Sooner or later someone will speak out and then we can take Wenger to the cleaners. He has so many fingers in so many pies that he will eventually get found out. Arsenal is run by scumbags as are most of the "bigger" clubs.
