I dont't why ya'll b!tching?
MSI decided West Ham will fit those lads better and they made a move, why does it have to sound so unbelivable? Or couse it is West Ham? Can't other teams compette? Is unfair that MSI is closer to the Hammers than other teams?
It's fun though most of the whiners are eather Arse fans or Mancs.
Lads it aint our fault your teams are owned by arabs and yanks. :funny:

PS: In no mean i want to sound a racist, it was just a joke. :wootman:

Good on ya Hammers. If this is a genuine deal then Pardue continues to work wonders. Hopefully these two will just enhance what is already an entertaining and competitive West Ham side. Really pleased for ya fellas..... (Y)

I wasn't so surprised when i read that West Ham got both players on loan for a year, what really surprised me is that the deal turned PERMANENT a few hours later. If they players were just loaned out, then i could see how Chelsea had a say in this, but since it's permanent now it is obvious that MSI just wants control of West Ham. Those players easily cost 30 million pounds together and that kind of money does not lie around just anywhere. And the fact that no further details will be revealed is obvious that MSI plans to own WHU soon. This seems like a great deal for WHU right now, but if MSI does takeover, is it worth it?

It is not.
West Ham is a team for the people. The tradition keeps this club going. I am sure most of the fans are way happier and proud about the academy than this 2 signings. Sure on paper we are better set but other than the G14 clubs other local teams are all about their fans.

I haven't seen any chelsea fans whinging about it at all. We are just as happy to see them NOT go to Arsenal or Man U. They'll be Chelsea players by next season anyway if they can cut it in the EPL. We are in the envious position of already having a World class squad. We dont have room for, or need these two at the moment, whereas Arse and ManU could really have used these guys. :wootman:

Well at least we'll still see Tevez trying to speak english.:funny:
And West Ham wears nice shirts, but anyway i think this is good step for these 2 players and also good signings for West Ham.

Last night right after the match Lanús vs. Vélez Sarsfield for the Copa Sudamericana which was being aired at Fox Sports(Fox Sports LA is the only channel that airs Premier League matches in South America, or at least in Argentina), the commentators said the new and said something among the lines "So from now on West Ham will be a guest star every week-end on Fox Sports". I'm believing that from now on will show all the matches from West Ham(plus other Premier League matches), kinda like what TyC Sports did with Wolfsburg matches when they had Quiroga, Klimowicz, Menseguez and D'Alessandro.

Is Scaloni still at West Ham?

Scaloni left, he was going to sign for Racing Santander, but apparently it fell through and Depor didn't register him, so he's in limbo.

Right - Joorabchian has confirmed that MSI are not taking over West Ham. I think we're a shop window for a bit, before the really big money transfer happens at the end of this season or next. This gives us the chance to push into the next strata of the Premier League, like where Spurs are at now, pushing for CL football.

Probably the best rumour I've heard thus far is that we have 2 years to qualify for the CL, if we do the spike in income will pay for extensions on the contracts. :rockman:

Exciting times for us Irons.

Cant see Tevez flopping, seriously. He has a fighting spirit that Hammers fans will love. Not to mention his quality on the ball.

Yes, that is a great opportunity for you, but you don't want to rush it too far, remember Sheffield and Leeds?

I understand where you're coming from - tbf before the UEFA Cup draw I was worried we'd be stretched too thin from a small squad a la Ipswich in 2000 (I think). Wasn't too worried about it post-draw as I though Palermo would do us easily, changed my attitude somewhat now though.

One thing Terry Brown will never be guilty of is recklessly over-investing, he's as tight as a duck's butt and not exactly prone to making Batesesque decisions. We'll be happy to have the pair on loan for a year, qualify for Europe again and maybe have another little cup run, thus pushing us up in the Premiership pecking order.
