Signed on permanent contracts

Of course it's a permanent deal, I'm just surprised it's this soon. As I said in a previous post, MSI needed to make this a permanent deal so they could make the big money on the next transfer inside Europe.

Either that or, as hermolt already said, MSI are using these players as a makeweight in buying the club outright and installing themselves as the Chelsea of east London.

Edit: either way, good luck to the Hammers. In many ways you were already the team to watch in the Prem, now that's only been compounded!

Anyway, if its true they were offered to the top 4 clubs, and they turned them down, its clear that MSI are after some stake in the clubs or something more than a simple transfer fee. The clubs didn't want to get caught up in whatever is going on. Gone are the days when a player gets to choose where they go. How exactly did MSI come about to own these two players? What do they get out of the deals? No offence to West Ham, cracking club and all, but how much say did the players have in the transfers?

At the end of the day, West Ham United have always been a well respected premiership club producing some of the greatest english talent this country has ever seen.

We are not a Chelsea or Arsenal, but we are still a Big club. European Champions in the days of the LEGENDARY Bobby Moore (greatest England captain there will ever be)

Before you slag off West Ham, check out our great history and some of the talent we have produced over the years. (the frank lampards, the Joe Coles, the Michael Carricks etc etc)
West Ham won the world cup for England in 66 (Bobby Moore, Geoff Hurst + Martin Peters)

Obviously now MSI will want them to do well at West Ham, and they will command a mammoth inflated fee from one of europes top teams as a result, it would be much larger than the fee they would have received directly from the two leaving Corinthians. MSI were going to take over West Ham, so they must have good relations, I bet Tevez and Mascherano are playing there for free, but West Ham receive none of the transfer fee away from the club. Thats why the finance part of the deal is being kept so quiet, since theres no way West Ham could fund the deal. Therefore as a result MSI get more money, and West Ham have two great players playing for them. It's bad for West Ham in a way because now they are being controlled by MSI, imagine if they got into Europe next year and were forced to sell both Mascherano and Tevez.

P.S I hate you Stotty, you promised me Mascherano at Man Utd this year you frigger

look i'm sorry i'm not slagging west ham off ok? i just still find it hard to believe. i know that you have a very good youth system and i also respect you for that, plus one of my fav players plays for west ham...

I have to ask that question myself, how much say did the players have in all of this? Sounds like little to me because no disrespect to West Ham but this is too fishy. So not long before they buy West Ham than eh?

There is so much we dont know about this deal.

Either MSI has bought West Ham or Tevez + Mascherano will be going to Chelsea next season for free (there is a strong possibility of Abramovich involvement)
