im going to be the kid that gets beaten up by everyone else that has posted here, but my injurys have been really realistic, like ill get nedved or someone ocassionaly injured maybe like 1 in 3 games someone will be out for a week and i had Del Piero injured for 12 weeks and zlatan for 8 or so but like thats preety realistic, just ment i had to buy Adriano and Fernndo Torres to replace them and who is complaining with that ? :P

Well, then you're lucky. Or maybe cpu fears you because you have hired a mafia to protect your players.:)
See the picture above? Doesn't it speak for itself? Is that realistic too?

It's funny but my game freaked out all of a sudden injury-wise.

3rd year of ML, my first year in 1st division, i'm 14-2-0 with a team of fairly good real players and a few 17 year olds I signed up during my first year that have developed into starts, and a few of the defauly ML team players.

My injuries well pretty neglegable so far. Suddenly I got 3 injruries on a game. 1 injruy on the next game (cup). 3 injuries on the next...7 injruries on 3 games (that's two weeks because of the cup game). Haven't played the next game yet...I'm scared

Oh, thank you genius, I didn't know I can substitute my players and alter the starting lineup.
Yes u cango to formation, or before each game or in game u can substitute players...like in real life very good feature in PES 5... :lui:

yea, i'm suffering from injuries too.

I think there's def a higher chacne of injury of ur player has his fatigue bar up. Make sure you rest your players. But otherwise, it sucks.

I never use a player with accumilated fatigue, and I rarely start a player without a fool fitness bar :ewan:

Two games later: My top scorer got a 13 week injury - out for the rest of the season :nape:

Well, maybe you could practice a little more then and stop whining and making derogatary comments to other posters on this board. Genius. :ewan:

I got some 'normal' 1-2 weeks injuries only ..
But even if i get cursed with 11 players injured for whatever reason, i still have the starting eleven with the same skills. :ewan:

Gotta prepare before the disaster strikes you know? :hump:

And maybe you should try to be more relevent to the subject than usual ''go practice, paly some fifa, yada yada''.
I just shared my extreme experience with injury spree that came over my team lately and I wasn't even complaining that much although I do think that 2 injuries per match is a bit over the top.

On topic. Luckily this terrible nightmare has come to an end and now I only have 3-5 guys injured on regular bases. Somehow I think that there's some scrpt that makes youngsters more vulnerable to injuries at the start at their career. Now that I have an older squad injury spree has tuned down significantly.
Oh and one more thing, if a player has C in he's ''injury prone'' attribute it means that he is more likely to suffer from more serious traumas with longer recovery times (red crosses) and not how often he will get injured as I thought before.

I agree two per match is a bit over the top.

I also get a lot more injuries than in older pes titles, especially light injuries.
This is probably due to injuries are not calculated randomly anymore but are derived from the actual situation that has happened i.e. how the players exactly crashed into each other, impact speed and such. Some variable tweaking from konami needed here to balance this.
But it seems to me that fatigue still greatly influences the chance for a player to get injured (like it is in real life..), so its probably a good idea to try to always have your players in good condition, and do all that standard anti-exhausting stuff:
- only run around with r1 when really needed
- set zone press to A only when really needed.
- dont do automatic defending with x or [] pressed (this exhausts _really_ fast)
- when buying, prefer players with high stamina and low injury possibility
- substitute exhausted players early.
etc.. there's probably other things I forgot.

Its also that players need to rest more than 1 game now to have their permanent exhaustion bar removed. Having key players in best condition for that one important match needs some decent planning.

It seems that some players almost never get permanently exhausted at all, even if they play every single match in all 3 tournaments, like Babel, in my case. But i think this heavily depends on the players position, wingers in general always exhaust faster, since they simply have to run more etc..

Unlucky Gnidrologist, i've started ML and i'm playing with Heracles who's only got 20 players. I was playing a friendly match against the european allstars and Gerrad manged to get Hellings injured for 3 weeks lol...not as bad as yours but still annoying.

There are so many factors in this. Obviously injuries happen sometimes you cant avoid them but like someone said you have to rotate, you also have change your strategy- I mean the A-C thing. You have to change it depending on your need for a match. If you have to win then put counter attack on A meaning your attackers tire themselves out in the attacking zone. But if there is no pressure on the match why not just put it on B or even C. same with zone press etc. Also when you are in front passing the ball across your back 4 helps and not making unneccessary sprints down the wing when you are 3-0 up!!! lol
