Ok.. i'm impressed with the demo so far..
best feature IMO is holding down the L2 button while standing still(for Logitech Rumblepads) to control the ball closely then flicking the right analog stick.. the player will perform cool stepovers while remaining in his position, just like most wingers do.. good job EA
i still have my reservations about the shooting and GK system as i haven't managed to get many shots in yet but i managed to score a couple of goals from outside the box - one of which my grandma could have saved... but i hope it's just the difficulty setting.
OTB control... well of course i still didn't get the hang of it but my first impressions is that it's exactly what was promised - you can take full control of the player with the right analog stick then either lob or pass the ball to him... However the player seems to move freely without any defender marking him.. i REALLY hope that's a difficulty setting issue as well.
Corners - looking good
FK's - i was only awarded one FK so far so can't really judge now
Crossing - looks improved this year, no more automatic goals
apart from that it has the general feel of FIFA 2003 with most of the bugs taken care of (most importantly you can actually header the ball now
Final verdict - yep i'm definitely buying it... EA have finally produced a game that's at least comparable to PES.
hope that was helpful for those who didn't get the demo yet (if any)
