How you became fan of your fav team?

Starting XI
I used to watch football when hung over on sunday mornings, but didn't really know who anyone was or what they were doing. I guess in '94 with the WC I started to take a more active interest. Although I do remember watching the '82 WC when Paolo Rossi scored all those goals and partying on St. Clair when I was like 8 years old
(You Toronto people will know what I'm talking about)

I watched (what I now realize was a) Champion's League match one year and started cheering for Barca. Can't really remember when it was.

I tried to watch whenever I could even though I didn't know much about the game or the players until later on. I guess it was sort of an instinctive thing.

I guess I became really more of an active fan around 1998 when I went to live in Mexico and got much more coverage.

Reserve Team
When i was young i loved watching the Premier league highlights show, In Australia that was about all we got of premier league on free to air, i loved watching zola, hasslebaink, gudjohnson, you know the whole generation before the whole Chelski era. I met my step mum for the first time and my dad told her i was into football and she told me she was a chelsea fan as she used to live in england and go to all the games, she then got me more into Chelsea and we used to talk about it heaps, i got my first chelsea top that Christmas and yeah still have it :D got it hung up on my wall as it is abit small for me now.

Youth Team
when we first got cable TV with ESPN, i watched a match with some guys in white vs some other team, and the white team won 5-0 with some of the best football i've seen to date.

and that team was Real Madrid. Back when they had Heirro, and Campo, McManaman n Solari, Savio and they just bought Figo.

and i've followed them ever since. without question.

oh, and Morientes!!!
