Not only gameplay is 'bad' (better than 2003 btw). But menu sucks, the menu kits and pitch logos ideas were really good and they put stupid menus and popups (I think SNES version was even better). Every time there's something good they delete it from the game. Gameplay is easy to modify but menu will be harder. Just hope there will be a tool (like for FIFA 2001 if I remember well) to modify those really bad menu .

We have reached exactly the same conclusion, Nick. Since it´s not possible (not here at least) to rent PC games I will buy it and hopefully it turns out that it was the demo that screwed up the demo for me.

I think I got two weeks to decide according to Swedish law.
Then again...two days should be enough.

the 2004 is very similar to WE series,,,but is more scrpted...anyways...in this version.,,the ball is much more realistic.
OI have seen it rebounds in so many different ways against the post and the keeper. Heheh in one opportunity the ball hitted both verticals and when out.... i wa just lucky not to be scored..

I was thinking that all the rebounds were in favour of the opc...but i was wrong when i did a very good shot with del piero and dida saved it just by an inch!... then the ball rebounded and felt in trez foot.

Exactly. it would be silly to have a goalie that can make more than 50 % saves when up against a totally free striker.

But I do think it´s too easy to break the defence. But that´s a different discussion.

well...im amateur im having serious problms to break the defence by ground.....

i know i suck...but im using keyboard and im not familiar with it..

i will the game for a console anyway.

About theam 1 on 1 with the keeper...IMO the keepers have a 20% of stopping a shot...so if we can score 8 of 10 attepmts i think that it is still realistic.

Hey, I played about 30 o 40 matches in this demo but i have never was 1 to 1 with the keeper.How did you break the defense???I coincide with Jomi in that of that if you want to change the level you can't in the demo, so it will be really difficult to score in te real semi pro and the other levels.You will see it in the full version of the game...

I am playing in the wc level now and believe or not just an honost openion, there isn't much diff between pro and wc. I can win 3-0 in wc or loose by a goal or two. I also noticed that playing with a home team is easier to win, so if I play with juventus I win easily. About the long distance shots, its harder in wc level cause its not easy to beat a defender, once you have clreared yourself, you can have a crack at the net and score 80% of the time, I have scored from about 35-40 yards in wc level. I think the keepers aren't in their proper position. That needs to be fixed by EA. EA please place the keepers in the right spot so it would be harder to score from long range, everytime I score I notice the keeper standing at the side of the net and the other side is wide open. And hoping AI will be attacking from the wings in the full game, if not then I m not going to own it, simple as that.

But i think the level doesnt change with the demo factory and really you are right about that if you are home is easier and there is a lot of more crowd from home.You can note it when you score with juve and when you score with ac milan.But I insist with that of that in the full game you will see that is going to be very difficult in the other levels

I also had problems getting 1 on 1 with the keeper but I m kind of fine now, I still need to get better at it though. All you need to do is use your through pass button, but not too hard, you need to watch your players that can make runs through the defence, time your through pass to the open space, don't make your through pass too hard, just a simple touch and sprint your forward to that open space, its very difficut to aim at that open space, sometimes a normal pass might work depends on the situation, also I recomend you to use a gamepad.

Man I was wondering why there wasn't any diff between those 2 dificult levels, and you might be right at that. The demo raptor not changing the diff level, heh I thought I already mastered the most of the things since I can win most of the time in wc

What a sh*t excuse for a game the FIFA 2004 demo turned out to be. After a few months of playing WE7, let me tell you how bad FIFA 2004 is in comparison. I 'm pretty sure I saw a banner at the FIFA 2004 website that said it's the "most realistic football simulation on the planet" OMG, what a joke.

I wanna see which one of you FIFA freaks will tell me that this is just a demo and that the full version will be better. I've been on the soccer video gaming scene for a few years now and let me tell you, the gameplay in the demo never changes compared to the full version. I hear this same a** excuse after every FIFA demo release.

If you guys thiks FIFA 2004 is realistic, you either don't watch real football, you've never played Winning Eleven/PES or your just plain slow...

i just was 1-1 with the keeper once.. and it was very lucky because i shooted...but the rebound in a efender felt on Del piero´s foot that was in the middle of the milan defence. I was attacking witha lot of people...i walked a few steps and scored.

Everyone seems to think WE7 is god... well I own it and it ain't.

Every game has it's flaws... WE7 has huge ones IMO. So does Fifa, and so will PES3.

There is no such thing as "perfect".

Initially I was disapointed in the fifa demo, but it's starting to grow on me.
