Good luck man, the Army is a decent option for a lot of people and I wish you the best. There are a lot of good benefits. I know a guy who got blinded in one eye from shrapnel in Iraq, but he's fine. Good luck, I hope you stay out of harm's way.

I have/had a couple of friends who joined up the British Army as soon as they could. One couldn't quite hack it, but the others around say overall it's a great career.

joining the army, defending your country is one of the most "blessed" actions a citizen could do. but personally, having George W. Bush as a commander in chief, I wouldnt join that army.
