hah, it's actually a smarter move to let Moratti be the hero on this one, so he can vouch for Thohir overcoming his teething problems later on ... this transfer mess is a MONUMENTAL blessing in disguise for Inter, not least coz Branca and Ausilio just entered last chance saloon ... not that you'd care ...

hahaha, yeah, he's going to be in deep sh!t if he tries to do that ... unless Inter attempt to freeze him out, he won't be able to get his contract annulled (à la Pandev with Lazio) ... as far as I read, he had been recalled to training during the deal, when it looked like things had stalled ... Inter can just keep docking his pay when he doesn't show up for training sessions, and fine him further for repeated offences ... he has 2 years left on his contract, AND 2014 is a World Cup year (in South America no less) -- it's Guarín who's in a bind, not Inter ...

Inter has confirmed Vidic interest. I think most likely that's where he will end up. He'll be almost 33 when he signs for you. He has been on the decline now for the past 2-3 years but can still offer 2 years. I think he will be starter for 1 year or 2.

I agree with Mandieta6, going to Serie A would be a smart move by Vidic. He is stil a master defending inside the box and the pace is much slower in Italy.
