Idiots to those that decided it was a good idea to sell Sneijder, I never wanted him to leave. Glad to see his doing good in your team :(

Why does balletolli behave like a child? He's got so many issues. Always getting into trouble.

I heard matterazi bashed him up in the tunnel. Is this true?

Materazzi is a disgrace to humanity, let alone football ... Mario is a teenager, and has a lot of growing up to do yet, but he is a genuine superstar in the making -- that's why Mourinho has worked at getting Balotelli to do what he needs to do ...

the Italian tifosi are very fickle, and constantly turn on their players ... they were whistling Ibra at the end of last season, despite him being the one-man winning machine for Inter last season ... Zlatan too reacted to the fans (after scoring a super goal), and made a gesture back at them for their idiotic taunts ... but I'm sure Materazzi wouldn't have dared to do to Zlatan what he apparently did to Balotelli ...

f*cking disgarce Marco Materazzi ... hope they send him packing ... coz otherwise, I'm could see Super Mario not turning up for training any more ... and that would be nothing short of tragic ...

I won't be celebrating until the victory is complete. Once the last whistle blows in Camp Nou with hopefully Inter as winners, then will be the time to celebrate.

another come-from-behind 3-1 win, the second consecutive this week ... Inter didn't look fazed after going a goal behind against Barça, and so it could never have been the case against Atalanta ... Materazzi was the weak link in a modified defensive line (with a few starters being rested, not just in defence) ... Muntari was just as poor with his passing as he has been all season, and so there will be no real chance of him starting on Wednesday ... Mariga was a lot more impressive, quite apart from notching his first goal for Inter ... Cristi Chivu's return has been very timely for Mourinho, and has been invaluable in the league ... he has always had a lethal left foot, and showed that today for his goal; after suffering that horrific head injury, and undergoing serious surgery to fix his cracked skull, the goal marked a successful return to top form for him, and everyone celebrated the goal with Cristi in reflection of that ...

just as we approach the business end of the season, this Inter side look very confident, and the top players are all in form ... Mourinho will be confident going into that Champions League semifinal 2nd leg, and will know that Barça will need to be in top form to beat his side by the requisite scoreline ...

I heard Sneijder broke something. I understand he'll miss the rest of the season and possibly the World Cup. Him being one of my favorite players, I'm gutted.

Sampdoria, all of Inter will love you tonight. Now is the time for Inter to take use of this fantastic advantage and win the Scudetto.

don't think this is the case with Sneijder, but apparently it could be the case for Raffie van der Vaart ... and he is one of my favourite players (since 2001/02), and I would be really gutted for him if injury once again curtailed his contribution for Holland on the big stage ... :(

This is most probably another mind-game of Mourinho.
definitely possible ...

Just a thigh muscle strain. Not too serious although he could be a doubt for the Barca game.
I think he will play ... I didn't say much about it in my post-match review of Inter's win yesterday, because I felt taking him off was more of a precautionary move than one that would signal something more serious ...

in other news, specifically from the Eternal City, Inter have reason to cheer: Cassano's Samp have defeated Roma, and thus put Inter back in the driver's seat for the championship ... it was a great match for the neutral, and an impressive performance from Samp ... Cassano had sprung the offside trap and was clear in the box within 5 minutes of the kickoff, but was wrongly called for offside (he was miles onside) ... that would have been 0-1 early, and completely changed the complexion of the remainder of the match ... but I suppose it didn't matter in the end, with Pazzini grabbing a brace in a comeback 1-2 win ... a "revenge" of sorts for Gigi Del Neri against his former employers ... and Fantantonio got an assist for Pazzini's goal, putting his former side to the sword, and assisting his boyhood club in the race for the title! :bob:

for Samp, they are back into 4th, and now hot on the heels of Milan for that final automatic Champions League spot ... and the way Sampdoria and Milan have been playing in recent weeks, I really fancy Samp to knick 3rd place -- I'll certainly be supporting them for it ...

Nice going there guys, even more so with 10 men.

At least we could say that we were beaten by the "eventual Champions", but whether that becomes true, remains to be seen. :)
