Bravo. Odd how a member of my high school team played with him over the summer of 2001 for some United States camp and Freddie was 12. Meaning he'll turn 15 this summer.

By the way, Adu's already had the bone testing, he's 14.

Nah theres a guy in my class at school. He is just as tall as me, and has bigger and way more stronger looking legs than Freddy Adu...

He is the best basketballer in New Zealand, and has played in under16 NZ since he was 12. He looks older than Freddy Adu, way more.

Face it, if any of you 14 yr old forum members were in his shoes, people would question your ages too..

Also, there's the example of O.J. Mayo, a basketball player in Kentucky. He's been playing on his high school varsity team since he was in 7th Grade and 13 years old. He is currently a high school freshman and 6'4'' 185 pounds; at 15 years old. Some people grow fast.

How about Derrick Character, he was 6'9'' 286 pounds as a 14 year old?

He's 14, he'll be 15 in June. - He'll be 17 in June 2006, just before the World Cup.

It has been proven, hell I've had friends who were built better, and taller than him when they were 14/15.

Anyway there's a guy on this forum, called Twellman, who's high school team played against ADU's, he says he's definately 14. Shook his hand and his voice was squeekin all over the place or summat

1st off... you are talking about a sporting phenomena and not an average 14 year old. Of course he is more developed, just like alot of the amateur female gymnasts that you see have muscle development that is far more advanced than other girls.

He is abnormally fit, conditioned, and skilled.

It isn't that difficult to develop your muscle mass. I started running 10K races at 7 years old, played 4 sports, skateboarded, and rode a bike all over the city. When I was 14 I tried to stop exercising my legs so much because I thought they looked gross from the amount of muscle definition that I had- it was just tooo much... the rest of me was scrawny
