Hey Outsider!
I would like to add a couple of Latin American referees to your amazingly long referee list (one from Mexico, one from Brazil and maybe two Argentinians)
Could you tell me what is the easiest way to do this: creating them from scratch (never did before) or editing the existing ones?
Maybe you can make them? I'm sure the community will be glad to see them in game, especially those who use your Great patch and play with Mexican, Brazilian, Argentinian etc teams. Your help will be highly appreciated. Thanks

I don't understand. What do you mean? Of course you can make UCL and Uefa Cups for tournament mode. If you mean to play UCL while playing a league in tournament mode yes: it's possible...

No well, my main concern is that i believe that the UCL relies on teams from other leagues, hence why it's in the second year by default, from teams who qualify in the first. So i could for example, just check the "appears in tournament mode" option in CM09 for UCL/UEFA and it will work?

It will work but you will see in the tournament all the teams you have put in the white "label" near the yellow rule in CM, that is the space for the team playing in the first year

Yes, change the teams in the "white label"
For example Juventus is set as the winner of UCL

So, that's the problem. When the game crashes before creating the manager in career mode, this means that the db has been quite heavily damaged that the game is not even able to understand what to do and what to show you on the job/team selection.
Surely this does not occur with the original Superpatch db
