Just for the record, who do you think is a rival for Llorente? I know you guys are cheap as hell lately, but there aren't many clubs who are going to outbid you for a striker. I guess because he's free maybe you just assume everyone is going to go after him? I can buy that, certainly Chelsea can pay more and probably Liverpool.

No one, Llorente is as good as ours. He pretty much has been since the summer. The dude wants Juventus. Rumors say he'll get a €5 mil a year contract.

Official? Or is this spanglish

I've seen a few things, Madrid (both), Chelsea, Liverpool and Arsenal even Milan

Oficial is Official in Spanish, yeah. Although someone adding 'official' to his name doesn't really give it much legitimacy.

I just looked at the page, it seems legit. Of course it could still be an employee of his but it doesn't look like a fan group/imposter

It's his official page, it was in the press too. I don't know if he did it to **** Bilbao in handing him the last day transfer but he or the guy that manages his facebook page posted that.

It doesn't mean anything, he's just making sure Juve stay interested in him. He's still likely to take the best offer.

Really? I like Licht more than Kolarov. Would you shift Asamoah to the other wing? Sounds like a bad move unless you get money out of it as well.

And City just got Maicon, and already have Zabaleta and Richards whereas they only have Clichy and Kolarov (and Zabaleta I suppose) on the left. Doesn't seem to make much sense.

Why would someone like Litch better? Kolarov is world class and misused at City, Litch is ok. Isla is much better, awesome player.

I think Licht is awesome, one of the best wingbacks/rightbacks in the world right now. Lots of energy, good passer, good in defense, can cross and can play both roles very well. I don't watch much Serie A, but from my understanding he was one of Juve's best players not a season or two ago.

I think Kolarov's overrated because of his ability in attack (especially delivery from set-pieces). Perhaps if he was given a solid as a wingback again I'd rate him higher, but at LB I'm not sure I've ever been impressed by him. And it's not like Clichy is that good either.

Licht is a super RB. Poor RWB though, he can't cross at all but is very solid. But yeah doesn't really make sense from City, or Kolarov really he will sit on the bench behind Asamoah but he's infinitely better than De Ceglie. Isla is the superior player in 3-5-2 though, but anything with a flat 4 I don't think there's many RB better than licht, Asamoah is a much better CM than LWB even though he's been amazing thus far imo he hasn't reached his peak at Udinese

Licht is pure class, not very offensive but really smart when defending and has incredible stamina. Wouldn't want to see him go.

I hope the Sanchez rumors are just that, I'm from Chile (I obviously watch every single national team game) and I can tell you with no doubt that he is very overrated. Can't score even when left 1 on 1 with the keeper and the last thing we need on the team is yet another forward who can't score.

How does Isla fare against better wingers/attackers?

Not being a huge fan of him I can say that he is above average and very disciplined when it comes to defending. When Bielsa was in charge of our national team he was very aware of when to defend and when to attack, and that quick transition is probably his best feature, in my opinion.

He is a good defender. Not as good as Lichtstiener, but definitely better than Cáceres.

Fair enough. Caceres is pretty solid himself although loses concentration a few times per match.

Thought this was hilarious too:

Juventus have taken an unusual step in replying to Massimo Moratti’s complaints about the referees – publishing a Calciopoli ruling.

The Inter President blasted officials for “penalising” his team over the last three games and suggested it was a familiar scenario to the one he experienced in Calciopoli.

The official Juventus website released a statement which only said: ‘No comment.’

Attached to the statement was a downloadable file outlining FIGC prosecutor Stefano Palazzi’s July 2011 ruling that Inter were involved in the Calciopoli scandal, but could not be punished because the statute of limitations had expired.
