So will he resign?
Saul Goodman should be his attorney in the next appeals. No worries.

But yeah, he can still do 90% of his job. Very little will change, Carrera embodies Conte's personality and style of play well enough to do his screaming and shouting for him on the sidelines (I always have the feeling this shouting has little significant influence anyway).

Well Krasic fell to pieces without Del Neri shouting MILOSH MILOSH every ten seconds (H)

From what i've heard Conte is pretty much an OCD organizer and is meticulous with everything so I think we should be fine - barring any completely unexpected events during big games such as multiple injuries

I really don't get this ... match fixing is the worst thing that can happen in football, worse than drugs. If Conte was guilty, Juve should sack him immediately. But they and their fans support him, so in their point of view Italian legal system is a joke!!!!!

In my country, there is jail for these people not touchline ban.

I really think you should read more before commenting...Like first of all what Conte is allegedly guilty for...

Also in Australia he would be innocent, because sporting trials are not guilty till proven innocent, and one man cannot get convicted on the testimony of 1 person when 23 others have different conflicting accounts..

so he is banned for 10 months ... because they are suspicious? :clapwap:

Edit: Rules are rules ... remember how Rio was banned few years ago coz he missed drug test.
Actually I think in this case it makes sense that he is guilty till proven innocent.

He heard a rumor there was match fixing between players, had no substantial evidence to make a claim about it so he didn't play the players in the game - he is now convicted for failing to report attempted match fixing when all he heard was a rumor and put a stop to it

I only discuss this because law (common law/civil law) and these kind of things are part of my degree, plz don't take it personally.

According to law, if you are certain or even suspicious about a crime and don't report it you are guilty. If he reported those players and that rumor he was out of the game and based on Italian law, they were guilty till proven innocent. I think he acted pretty immature.

Regarding he didn't have enough evidence for that, it wasn't his responsibility to gain documents for the case. It's like you hear a sound that somebody's killing another one, it's not your responsibility to make document, you should just report it.

If 22 innocent people back you and 1 guilty person testifies against you in order to get a reduced sentence something is suspect.

I agree you should report it, but that's morality not law if you have no evidence

It's very complicated but it depends country to country. I guess some countries need at least 3 testifies against, maybe in Italy that's one. Btw, Conte should prove that the other 22 were aware of situation, because it's obvious that the guilty party was involved.

A good lawyer can play with words and laws, I wonder how Conte couldn't survive this. I guess Bad Juve reputation.

Here we go!

Early reports say Buffon will definitely miss out with injury, starting lineup looking to be:

Code:
               Storari

      Barzagli-Marrone-Bonucci

Licht-Marchisio-Pirlo-Vidal-Asamoah

          Vucinic-Giovinco

Dunno about you guys but looking at that midfield I leak all kinds of excitatory fluids..

Ehhh 3 points. Could have done without the controversy already but oh well. Worst penalty I've ever seen from Vidal, normally he is great
