Asamoah performance as LWB is a positive surprise for me, i've seen him playing open wide in Udinese but isn't exactly the same position.

I don't like big squads and doesn't make sense to have 12 players in bench if you can only change 3

Sure it does. You could bring young players to your matchday squad every match, and should you be winning 4-0, you can give them minutes they'd otherwise never get. Top level squads should all have upwards of 20 players anyway, don't see a problem with having a large bench, it gives more tactical options.

If youngsters get more playing time than subs loocker rooms get sick. Sturridge, romeu / drogba, lampard last season for example.

That's not necessarily the case, the squad needs to be properly managed, but the point isn't that you buy more players to fill the spots, just that you can put all the players you have on the bench.

First order of business after Saturday's win was 'liking' Asamoah's page on Facebook. Beast. Couldn't believe his strength and energy both defensively and offensively. Totally owned the left flank.

He's not only physical strength like Abate or Arbeloa, he is also technique gifted and offers solutions at 3/4. Absolutely destroyed the left flank against Parma...

Probably gonna get Llorente real soon. If true then I hope he doesn't flop in Serie A. Would have preferred Jovetic or Dzeko but oh well.

Jovetic is a great player but not a 9. Llorente could adapt to everywhere (team style).

It's 12 max not minimum, for example Parma only had 9 I think.

Also yes so very true, I wonder if that was the plan all along or they just found it out in training because he is a beast.
