You know what's the biggest farce? Inter getting the 2005-06 scudetto and Milan not receiving the 2004-05 one.

Also being penalised 8 points to start the season for doing nothing wrong.

If we win the scudetto next season I will rub it in the face of the Interistas for the next 40 years that they lost the scudetto to their city rivals who started the season with a big penalisation, I can't wait.

i wonder why the hate towards Milan, is not like the save anything.... there were in serie A from the first time, the only "reward" was to play the champions league and we will have to qualify.

They never were in jeopardy to go to serie B, now... why not against Lazio and Fiore that were very well reward by playing in serie A and saving a lot of fanancial problems.

Don't act like Milan is whiter than white, they've been down this road before, they knew exactly what they were doing.

That was in 1980, we had different board, and we payed with Serie B demotion for that case. Berlusconi is our president since 1986 only and although he is not the "cleanest" person in politics and media dossiers, AC Milan is his hobby and he never did anything punisheable when it comes to his team management.

In this calciopoli affair, viewing the little evidence (the so called Meani phonecall), and following the case since the beginning every day of the week I must say that AC Milan are only victims in this case and Inter is the sole benefitor of the whole situation. (it influenced the first verdicts by Rossi, Palazzi and Borelli, all famous Interistas in charge of the whole trial)

Inter is the sole benefitor as they will receive a scudetto they don't deserve because not won on the field of play and one of their rivals (Juventus) is out of Serie A for several years.(they had to sell lots of their players and likely a few more will depart, one or two of those to... Inter.)

Also, Berlusconi made lots of ennemies in his non footbalistic activities like business and politics and his foes are trying to get to him by punishing his "child" AC Milan. It's sad millions of fans have to pay for that also.

“There is absolutely no way we can accept this sentence”

President Giovanni Cobolli Gigli comments on the decision of the Corte Federale to condemn Juventus to Serie B with a 17 point penalty: “There is absolutely no way we can accept this sentence. Taking into consideration the facts which have so far been brought to light, the sentence cannot be deemed a balanced one. Furthermore, I find the differential judicial treatment afforded to the other clubs most serious and completely unjustified. The ramifications for Juventus are extremely serious: the 2004/2005 scudetto has been revoked and, despite having nothing to do with the inquest, so has that of 2005/2006; we are also unable to participate in any international competitions. Above all, a punishment has been inflicted on us which will seriously jeopardise next season. Since the recordings of the first phone calls were released, the club has pursued one sole objective: to exercise clarity and it has done so without hesitation. For these reasons, we have decided to continue with our case and appeal to every possible body. I can confirm that we will not stop until justice is done, in the interests of our extraordinary fans, our share-holders, the club, and, of course, the football league.

You act like Milan is the angel of Italian football and were COMPLETELY f*cked with this sentence. You should be damn happy that they only got 8 points less and no Serie B. Ofcourse im happy that Milan and especially Fiorentina (who started from 0, their fans dont deserve this!)stay in A. I have respect for Milan, but plz dont say they are completely innocent. Because they arent! I followed this as much as you did. And we all know all the 4 clubs were in it.

Yeah, it's in the interest of the football league to have the cheats back in.

All four should have been awarded a Serie C1 place.
Instead, this is like an invitation to other clubs to do the same, because you're guaranteed leniency. I love it when people call Serie A the best league in the world. It's a joke, and a bad one at that.

Seeing as this appeal didn't do us any good, I'd rather stick with the first sentence and have Milan out of the CL.

As far as I know, Milan were charged with almost the same if not the same stuff Juve was and look at the difference in sentences.

On another note, how can people who work for clubs also be on the League board??? Seems like both Milan clubs are quite well represented in the board.

Belu makes up the sentences and the Internistas approve...

LOL
