I would like to receive some info about The Kitserver itself:
- What code language is it written in?
- Does it interact with the videocard memory or with the standard one?
- Is it possible to get the source code of it? (at least one module)?

Thanks in advance,
Simociv

I think you could write a private message to JUCE66, the inventor of kitserver, or ask to Robbie for this...

@slaid: Yes, i understand. Maybe later... for me that doesn't have much priority.

@simociv:
- It's written in C++, GDB Manager in Python.
- Not sure what you mean with "interact". It changes some things in the memory, but for example the boot textures are modified right in the video memory...
- Well... depends on what you need it for. Send me a PM with a description what you want to do with it and so on. Then i can discuss with juce about that. Basically we don't want to publish it (well, and one module can't be compiled for itself), but if you have a good reason for that...

Atleast you are considering it thats good, I have HDD space its just that when it comes to backing it up on my external HDD or onto CD or DVD I dont want to split the files into 5 files I would prefer just one big one. Is it possible to change boots for a player aswell like you do balls?

If you mean something like "home boots", somebody else had that idea before, imo that's a waste of time to programm such a feature.

Actually thinking of it boots is not a good idea with a ball its simple as its just one, with boots its too much..stadium would be good though and we do all appreciate what you and juce are doing.

Seems like you missed the "home stadium" mode which existed since more or less the first versions of stadium server i think. ;)

It seems that a friend has mentioned about this a time ago. It would be great if juce would take care of the problem between kitserver and vista - ati tray tools "force vsync" option. thanks for the good work!

Ehm... no. I need more information about that... i'm gonna release a new version in the next days anyway (no really big changes). So i can give you a special kload.dll then (that bug even happend with all modules disabled, right?) which shows some message boxes, so we can see what exactly takes so long. You know, before i can fix such a thing, i need to know WHAT to fix. ;) And i don't want to install Vista for that, so i need your help.

@ggurak: I have no idea how this function works...

Yes I want to help you, give me all the test you want by me... :) (sorry for my english)

I tried to disable modules (one after the other-) and no any modules causes the long time quit...
Hovever also when all the modules are disabled, bug exist.

I use Windows VISTA X64 Ultimate:
CPU: AMD64 3500+
Memory: 3 GB RAM
Graphic Card: NVIDIA 6800 ULTRA (256MB, 256bit) AGP

this is when I quit the game by task manager:

Robbie, are u aware of the 'force v-sync in Vista' option in ATI Tray Tools? When kitserver is enabled, there is an appcrash.exe error when I'm trying to launch pes6.exe... I've heard this problem elsewhere, so it's not specific my issue.

Without kitserver or that option disabled it runs ok though...

I'm using the newest version of kitserver of course. I can't post the exact error message, because I went back to XP. This is the only thing that keeps me from Vista, but I want to play PES with v-sync on, otherwise the tearing is too bad.

Why not? The files are all the same for PES6 and PES2007. You can use the whole GDB you have for PES6 also for PES2007, you only have to change the IDs of the teams and the players because the OF is different. So basically, all tools which are only there to MANAGE your GDB will work for PES6 as well as for PES2007 (not for PES5, because a couple of things changed). The Player GDB Manager isn't made by us, so we can't influence that, but it SHOULD work with PES2007 too. However, i think you can't choose the OF, so i think you have to rename it to KONAMI-WIN32PES6OPT and put it into ...My Documents\KONAMI\Pro Evolution Soccer 6\save\folder1.

Thanks Robbie for the assurance, I'll try it out.

Cheers mate.

edit: Ok I unzipped everything but when I click the .exe, it gave me an application error. I downloaded 1.6.3 btw. Any ideas Robbie?
