Try this:

1. in kitserver folder, run setup.exe, and press "Remove" button to detach it from PES4.exe.
2. exit the setup.
3. check the compatibility settings for setup.exe and compare it with compatibility settings for PES4.exe. They need to be the same for kitserver to work correctly. (You can turn off compatibility mode for both of them, or you can set them both to use Win98 mode, but the important thing is that they have to match.)
4. run setup.exe again, and press "Install" button to re-attach Kitserver to PES4.exe.
5. try the game again.

I have this problem using the new version of Kit Server, but I've tried this instructions and a bug continues... and now???

so, for you, it also works in Win98 compatibility mode, but crashes in regular mode? What WinXP edition do you have (home, professional)?

you are almost their juce; your new boost version of kitserver fixed the crappy "l" thing in the collar as you can see in the pic; althought the collars still could be better; but maybe this problem could be like you said of the desing of the collar;


i have another question juce; what feedback did you receive or what results about the beta version of kitserver were you use 3 bitmaps instead of 1; cause the kits looked much much better experimenting with that version.

I agree, there's no point in buggin juce about the Master League kits, it's not going to help in any way imaginable, so just enjoy the current version :)

Still I'd like to ask Juce (hypocrite that I am :D ), I would like to know if you could tell us if you see any obstacles or reasons why this should or should not be possible....just interested :)

The Masters League works on the settings at the time the game was first saved in terms of uniforms. If I start a new ML then I have the official uniforms but if I play with my old ML I get the edited uniforms I originally had.

This is just the way ML works for some dumb reason so what we're looking for is an overide to the ML saved file which I don't think we can ask Juce to waste his time with. The fault lies with the way Konami have taken a snapshot of the option settings and not allow them to be updated.

I was told it is possible to modify your own team's kit (using in-game editor) as you go in Master League from one season to another.

But let's say someone started a new Master League campaign and played a few seasons (or even just a few matches), but never actually edited the uniform of his team.

What happens if he now installs official kits with kitserver? Will official kit appear in the next master league game, or will it still be the original (although unchanged) kit from the AFS?

(From what you're saying, it sounds like it would be the original non-official kit from AFS. Can someone try this scenario to verify?)

Yep, that's the way it works Juce because I played a couple of ML games after I installed Kit Server and there was no change ot the uniforms. I started a new ML and the uniforms were there immediately.

I wouldn't spend any time trying to fix this problem juce if there's other stuuf you have to sort out.

i agree on wolf... those who wanted the new kit just start a new Master League... no complain... for me i still havent start any Master League because waiting for wolf final final final option file hehe.. ok was joking about the final final hehe ... really appreciate wolf work ... so just waiting for the most update option file before start play ML... but now guess i have to wait for final kit also before i can start ML... i am not really picky.. just hope that all the team kit is there and collar fix then i can start ML hehhee...

FILEFRONT PLS VERIFY FASTER !!! I BEEN LOOKING IN AT WOLF PATCH 2.0 THREAD FOR THE LINK EVERY 30 MIN !!! hehe...

PS: btw wolf is the filename on file front the same as the your thread ? if yes i might search filename on filefront once in a while hehe..

I see. Sounds like they store the actual bitmaps of kits in the ML save... That's the only explanation that comes to mind.

Makes sense to put this aside then. There is indeed plenty of other work to be done for kitserver.

you're welcome, of course. kitserver is proud to be a part of The Wolf Patch. I bet even Konami employees will be downloading your patch once it appears on FileFront. Isn't that ironic? :)

i believe u have to rename the file to .zip... its jpeg file because the server can only host picture file haha...

Right click, save target as then rename the .jpg to .zip or .rar and unrar or unzip as normal.
