Yes m8,
Except EA tries to be stubborn with their unchanged point of view, they may lose many customers. But I don't think so. As a tycoon in gaming industry, I don't think EA's brains (which always think how to catch as many customers as possible) will not do anything.
As fans of PES, we wish Konami will live stronger, but the practical situation is sometimes inevitable. Microsoft is now trying to buy Yahoo!. If I'm not wrong EA used to pay and get license frm Konami to use the 'physical system' of ball movement in PES ( FIFA 2005 maybe). We like Konami to release more pieces and by that way they may improve their standing. E.g instead of preparing pes08 NA version, now they can make PES EURO 2008 (to welcome the fact EURO 2008). Some men here said Konami didn't get the license but they don't need to do so. , they may continue using PES6 engine (of which gameplay is more favourite) and add some feature (graphics, music...)and some small improvement (I mean the remarkable improvement may be passed to the next year's version). Such thing just cost them a little time but earn more money. See, FIFA 08 is just a little change compared with the 07 (though 2 versions is 1 year apart).
It's just our rough idea. Btw, I'm still wondering why Konami didn't have any reaction, though many negative comments appeared when the demo of PES08 was released. Didn't they listen ? As many other game developers used to do, they could have delayed the date of publishing and waited until their product is well finished.
