I don't know, the La Liga can throw up surprises at times. I think Valencia have a shot at winning just as Real Madrid and Barca do...

Ruud will win the Pichichi. Just watch. ;)

Can't wait for the season to begin. Pretty tough opening fixture for Madrid, but we'll pull through it I think..

I lost crazy money on this league last year stupidly betting on big named teams. I thought because I had access to GolTv that I knew all there is to be known about this league............ :kader: ......hopefully I'll get some analysis from you folk who follow this league week in and week out.

real will be hard competition this year I fear, but I'm confident barca will finish as #1

This could be a great season.

Some great moves and additions to the league:

Barça - Zambrotta, Thuram, Gudjohnsen.
Madrid - Cannavaro, Emerson, RVN. New coach: Capello.
Atlético - Agüero, Pernía, Mista, Costinha, Seitaridis. New coach: Javier Aguirre.
Valencia - Del Horno, Morientes.
Villarreal - Cani, Nihat, Pires.
Zaragoza - Aimar, D'Alessandro. New coach: Víctor Fernández.

Madrid have an easier start than us. They play at home.

Yoss - I follow it day in day out, and I can't predict sh*t.

lol!
thats how it is for most of us!

I think Madrid will be alot more consistent than last season because of their new signings and their new coach. With all the crap they did last year they still finished 2nd! I think this year they will be more solid.

I think Barca will slip a bit from last year because 1. They cant get much better, 2. New players will affect play, 3. their preseason is ridiculous, and they will feel the fatigue in the 2nd half especially because of the World Cup.

I think top 2 will be one of those teams.

3rd place is for Villareal imo, they've had great signings and if they keep senna they will improve.

I think zaragoza will do really well this season, they added some major reinforcements and will build to last season's CDR acheivements.

Valencia are always up and down....they lost aimar, and signed some insignificant players to their squad I think. I dont think villa can reproduce his last season one more time...

pichichi: Ronaldo (6) Nihat (going on a limb here)

I agree, I think this season will be very exciting.

I am not sure about who will win this one, I am not as confident as some of our other fans. I think we have a better shot at CDR and CL. Anyway I will try to keep positive and not make any predictions, just hoping for the best.

If Atlético dont do **** this year, than they wont ever do ****. Oh and Sergio Aguero to be the next Hugo Sanchez... (6) I think we will see him in white soon.

who's interested in a Fantasy League? A La Liga fantasy same as last year, done on YAHOO (sorry Rusi) where you can track every stat for a point!

Our team has definitely improved with Zambrotta and Thuram. They will affect play, but in a positive way, I'm sure. Zambrotta is the best full back in the world and anything he adds to the team will show its results.
Thuram will feature in the centre of defense where we lacked depth.

As for fatique, we have a sufficient number of players. I'm only worried about Eto'o's position, should he pick up an injury.

Atlético all the way, and Torres for pichichi.
most people here think he's overrated and sh't but I actually reckon the kid's as a very good striker.

also, looking forward to watch Aguero in action :corn:

It is sad because Argentina's two brightest young talents play for Madrid's two biggest rivals. :nape:

aye... (Y)

though most of the smaller teams havent had great contributions to their teams...

I'm not impressed with valencias signings at all.. plus they've lost Aimar + Mista(though he didn't ontribute much last season..)
Villarreal has signed great players too (ive always really both nihat and pires), but lost Guayre, Calleja and Font who were great + Senna, who might leave and is wesome.
Atletico... haha, i bet they don't make the top 6. Respect for Aguirre though, hes a great coach (Y) (ESPN2 is in love with him)
Real Madrid... well, Ill have to wait and see... they seem to have a pretty solid team, better than the last 3 years Id say...
Barcelona. Same. I think they might be the champs this year again. If theres no player rotation, forget about the next title.

Top ten predictions: Barcelona, Real Madrid, Valencia and in no order: Zaragoza, Sevilla, Villarreal, Getafe, Deportivo, Celta, Osasuna and Atletico. (same as last year basically....)

i bet 12897 dollars Real Sociedad are going down this year (:/) and so is Racing.

Athletic will continue struggling and so will Espanyol...
Recreativo, Nastic and Levante all look o.k.

All I hope is that this will be a competitive, clean, entertaining season to watch.
