Watched an old Peckinpah movie called The Osterman Weekend - its an extremely dated and badly made movie, disjointed and rough, yet it still has a very interesting story at its core and is very good at developing suspense. John Hurt is fantastic in it, though Burt Lancaster and Dennis Hopper are underused and the lead, I forget his name, isnt quite up to it. I was expecting an old school cold war spy movie, but instead it's a Clouzot style suspense thriller of no specific genre, though no where near the standard of the great man. Tough to get into and frustrating in its faults, but still interesting.

Down by the Valley..............what a surreal, touching, phenomenally acted and written movie, man. I was getting worried there for a moment with Norton's seeming indiscriminate choosings of movie scripts lately in such memorable films as Death to Smoochy, Italian Job, The Score and even Red Dragon, but this small, subtle and meaningful flick like this one has got 'em back on track as one of the best actors of this generation, man. I have yet to see The Painted Veil, but this has got to be his best performance since Fight Club? Or Maybe The 25th hour?...... I can't decide which, but yeah, anyway. I highly recommend this, yalls.

I'm not really big on raving about someone who already gets his due respect from most, but....WHAT A ******* ACTOR, man.....sheesh!

Both the direction and writing is highly reminiscent of the Cohen brothers, the supporting cast was well chosen and they propelled this movie into an Indie classic imo. Evan Rachel Wood, what can I say.....the reigning champion portrayer of angst ridden teens. What a breathtakingly stunning actress, man. I fell over heels for this chick when I first saw Thirteen, then I saw her in a couple other flicks since and she's yet to disappoint me once. Infact, she's just becoming more exceptional with each role....yeah, you can tell, eh? I'm severely in love with this girl, man. She's about the prettiest thing going in the movies today, but she's also extraordinarily talented. Rory Culkin...wow. He was equally awe-inspiring with his subtlety, depth and grasp of his character, man. He's almost equalled his performance from Mean Creek. I just hope that growing out of child actordom isn't a bitch like it was to his older brother because this kid is truly genuine.......what skill and range for a kid his age, man. Those Culkin kids have it in their genes, man. I'm sure of it. David Morse? Another solidly dependable and yet still impactful performance from him. Definitely one of the more underrated character actors going around in Hollywood today, man.

P.S....Folks, you can never go wrong with Mazzy Star as your background music in a movie....there aren't many things in this world more beautiful than Hope Sandoval's voice and lyrics, man

25th Hour.... now that's a highly underrated movie and a great Norton performance, backed up by a superb supporting cast (Cox, Seymour-Hoffman, Pepper, Dawson etc). Spike Lee really is a fine director, really gets into the minds of his characters, even in more populist movies like Inside Man.

Just watched Man on Fire, nice movie. Good movie, would have been ****ty without Denzel, since the script is a bit off, though he makes it believable somehow.

Hey, man. I've always wondered, do you folks have cheerleaders over there in Britain at school level? Or any level for that matter?

poor sods........you guys missed out on a lot of spank bank material, man.

It was one of my biggest joys in life, looking up cheerleader's skirts, growin' up.

I think if any teacher even suggested getting together a cheerleading team in a British school they'd be done for paedophilia or perversion. You can't even video school plays and sportsdays here anymore.

Dude.....that is so homo! Could you ****ers be more stringent and ridiculously rigid down there or what? That's sad, man, because over in the States, it's part of the folk culture, you know? About as American as.......

In my opinion, cheerleading is the only legitimate, upright and venerable sports career that women should be pursuing.

That and wet T-shirt contests, beach volleyball, tennis and booty shaking

Bourne Identity and Bourne Supremacy
Both not bad. Same as good both and good enough for what they are. Action. Best thing is that they dont focus on stunts & explosions. At least its something we dont see very often in US films
