Fargo

Definitely felt like a typical Coen brothers film. I really enjoyed the disclaimer at the beginning, hilarious. I'm sure quite a few idiots were still fooled even when the movie was over.

the Taking of Pelham 1 2 3.

Decent Movie. Nice performances. Denzel Washington was good, as well.

The Final Destination - Bubba from Forest Gump. I always like FD movies - what they lack in the plot, they make up for in the methods of death. Didn't see it in 3D, though - so I didn't get to duck when bits and pieces of people were being flung about.

watched it too and I enjoyed it, though Travolta's lines were pretty awful. ("call me a terrorist? am I terrorizing you?" meh).

also watched the first few minutes of District 9 the other day, seemed disappointing so I bailed. might give it another shot if I'm bored though.

^ Yes. I was amused at some of the dialogues of Travolta. Denzel's dialogues were smart enough.

Have been on a movie-watching spree.

Not really a Big Fan of the series. Only like the first part of the series. Went to see this movie on the insistence of my friends, and of watching it in 3D. Have to say it sucked. Shoddy storyline, and woeful performances. 3D was not great as well.

Inglorious Bastards: One Helluva Movie. Not Pulp Fiction, But still show promise throughout the movie of becoming PF, but never actually transpires to become one.. Pitt was great..

District 9: As has been mentioned. A great Sci-Fi Film after a long long time. Great concept, really nicely directed, and the fact that they have managed to pull this off with such a low budget is commendable..

The Hangover: Have to say this that I saw this film for the third time, and the magic of the film is kinda rubbing off bit by bit..But still funnier than many movies..

Just watched Der Untergang (Downfall), that German film about Hitler's final 2 weeks that always gets parodied on Youtube. Very emotionally charged film, and I'm a sucker for historical movies, as accurate or inaccurate as they may be, so I liked it. It's been criticized for actually depicting Hitler as a human being, since there are a few scenes where he shows care and compassion for his secretaries, dogs, or whatnot. In the end they throw in many more scenes depicting him as a monster anyways, so it doesn't really matter. Great film though, and an amazing performance by Bruno Ganz as Hitler.

Did you watch the cinema version or the extended TV version?

I watched this while on one of my many trips to Mexico... It is a great movie despite the fact that it does do what you have mentioned.

Old School - One of the most enjoyable movies I've seen.

Mr. and Mrs. Smith - didn't like it. Not my cup of tea. Sorry! At times, it was very slow......

I find Agelina Jolie to be very annoying when she is in any movie not named Tomb Raider.

Yep, there are more scenes that show how the "normal" people in Berlin felt and it shows some more scenes of a boy-soldier.

Not entirely sure to be honest. It started with an interview with an aging Traudl, one of his secretaries. And it did have a lot of scenes with the young boy soldier. It was around 2h25m long.

It was definitely better than some people said, in my opinion. I especially enjoied the part where he interviewed the American parents who wanted their little children to get in the photoshoot: "Yes, she can lose half of her weight, if it's needed." "Sure, I'll let you take a picture of my baby crucified." (H) That's just... (H)
