There is really 4 (and I hardly count the Wedding), and the others are stupid made for DVD spin offs, using the brand. They're not the same.

Don't get me wrong, I HATE over the top, obvious humour, but American Pie does it really well, and what it captures EXTREMELY well is that awkward 'growing up and trying to be cool' feeling.

It's a bit like an American Inbetweeners (though the Inbetweeners movie had nothing on the TV Show)

The "guy having sex with a pie" isn't funny because he has sex with a pie, but because he is caught, and because he's an idiot teenager who keeps getting caught doing things like that. Sooo many people can relate to being a horny idiot teenager.

I think you're limiting yourself by not watching it, and not thinking enough about it, if you think it's simple toilet humour. It's toilet humour, but believable toilet humour that intertwines with the plot, and makes you feel like you're in that group of friends.

It actually annoys me when people say "I'm not watching American Pie" or "I'm not reading Harry Potter". If you haven't watched them, you have no opinion on them, simple.

And it doesn't make you more intelligent if you don't like them, I know so many people who seem to think not liking Harry Potter because "it's a kids book" or not liking American Pie because it's "toilet humour" makes them smarter and more mature. Generally they're wankers, who take themselves too seriously, and haven't watched/read them.

Nude Nuns with Big Guns.

A bizarre mix of Rodriguez/Taratino style over the top fight scenes and gore, along with a pretty much full on nod toward the Sexploitation genre. It could almost be softporn.

Pretty decent for a romp film though, don't watch it if you want a serious film with a good plot/camera work/acting/anything.

American Pie - Reunion

It was nice to see those once a kids, but now grown people who still gets into trouble. I liked the movie, nothing spectacular, but still fun.

Watched 13 Assassins last night. Pretty good film to be fair, the 45 minute fight scene at the end was pretty decent too, a superb way to end the film.

You should have watched 13 assassins today on Friday 13th at 13:13 in the afternoon. That would have been cool.
