Expendables 2 - Starring: pretty much everyone you've ever seen in an 80's action film/tv show. Loved it. All the cliches, all the corny over the top action, all the gratuitous violence. Absolutely good time at the movies if you ever liked Rambo/Commando/Die Hard etc. A cameo by Chuck Norris? Ridiculously good time at the movies. 2 thumbs + up.

Make America Great Again
I watched Dirty Harry last night. Probably been a good 10 years. The bad guy is really really awful; he totally ruined the movie for me. And I thought it was maybe not that necessary to have Harry be like "THE LAW IS WRONG" in the DA's office when they dressed him down for braking into a suspect's locked house, shooting him in the leg, and torturing him for information.

Disney to Buy Lucasfilm for $4.05 Billion; New 'Star Wars' Movie in the Works

The Walt Disney Company has acquired Lucasfilm for $4.05 billion in cash and stock, and announced a new Star Wars movie to be released in 2015. Kathleen Kennedy, current co-chair of Lucasfilm, will become Lucasfilm's president, reporting to Walt Disney Studios chair Alan Horn as part of stock and cash transaction. “For the past 35 years, one of my greatest pleasures has been to see Star Wars passed from one generation to the next,” said George Lucas, Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of Lucasfilm, in a statement. “It’s now time for me to pass Star Wars on

It's Disney you know it'll be awful. The only Star Wars movie I watch somewhat frequently is the Empire Strikes Back no way they'll top that. What I'm really worried about is what they'll to the Indiana Jones franchise. I remember when George Lucas said Red Tails would be the closest thing to an episode VII, and I was like awesome at least they would leave the series alone for now but now we'll get Jonas Bros with Darth Vader!

Also, here's a list of movies "owned" by The Walt Disney Company:

Dead Poets Society
The Nightmare Before Christmas
The Royal Tenenbaums
The Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy
The Prestige
The Help
War Horse

And these are just the ones of the top of my head I remember being from Touchstone. They owned Miramax for almost a decade (Pulp Fiction, Chicago, No Country For Old Men are from that period). Besides, all the Pixar movies. They also own ABC and ESPN. So the next Star Wars trilogy might be bad, but to automatically attribute it just to the fact it's owned by Disney is ignorant and just an excuse for more lousy internet memes.

I was thinking this earlier, but didn't know which production company was Disney-owned. Couldn't have put it better.

Not looking forward to it, but then again, it'd be fiscally irresponsible NOT to do another film.

YELLOW CARD: Untrustworthy
Lucas is till going to have a say on the stories that are created, so that's where I see the positive side of this. I may change my tune when the first movie is in the works

Great points, but John Carter.

EDIT - This actually makes it all okay.
