I sometimes like to watch sad movies about difficult lives, it doesn't make me feel good but i can relate to them. For example one is "Factory Girl".

Life is beautiful and The Pianist come to my mind.

Saw 21 grams when it came out, did not understand it one bit. Need to watch it again now that I have wised up.

Blow - What a movie with a somewhat sad ending.

Amores Perros - Saw it a few months back, can't believe It took me that long to see it. I always though it had to do with couples and bad relationships, never would I have though a dog would be involved.

I'll check some on your list that I have not seen.

I'll reply to this post now that i have sobered up.
Haha, that comment about 21 grams. Watching movies like that can be a bit confusing, because of the different timeline which Iñárritu uses a lot in his movies, i don't remember the right term for it and i'm too lazy to google for it right now. Just gotta concentrate when watching movies like that. But i take it that you were a bit too young when it came out? And didn't understand a lot about it. You should definitely watch it again.

Blow is probably one of my favourite movies, although i have so many of them. :D And agreed that it had a pretty sad ending. I felt a lot of compassion for George Jung, he might have been a drug dealer which is not the nicest things to be, but stuff ended quite badly for him in the end. The way his wife started acting towards him, his friends betraying him etc. He just wanted to spend time with his daughter and get out of all that lifestyle :(
And Johnny Depp played that role so well in my opinion.

yes, I was ten years younger, and was focused on other things so didn't understand it completely.

In Blow- I would have off the wife, specially a bitch like her, pretty low what she did to him in the car.

I see.
Yeah about that car scene in Blow, i was suprised how Depp's character managed to stay calm during the whole time. Probably the right thing to do though in situations like this though.
And the look on his face in the car when he realized he was busted and having to go to prison again, just because her wife couldn't behave reasonably.
