Watched the Imitation Game last night. I really enjoyed it. I thought the lead was very very convincing as an obviously autistic genius, the story was well written, and from reports mostly based on historical fact. Really enjoyable movie.

When i read the beginning of the plot description "A self-obsessed young man makes his way to the party-to-end-all-parties on the last day on Earth, ...", I immediately thought there's no way i'm watching this, probably should've read it until the end while paying more attention.
After having a random chat about movies with a buddy of mine a few days later, and him saying that was the recent one he had seen and it being watchable.. I decided to give it a go and i'd say it was alright, especially considering the fact i knew nothing about the director or those actors, and quite literally had zero expectations. It's nothing spectacular though, but definitely doesn't make me want my 1 hour and 25 minutes back. Oh and i think it's also worthy of noting that it was quite predictable.

I kind of get the "your own interpretation" thing, but wouldn't mind a more literal shot.
