Watched The departed on T.V... Great movie, but all the editing really ruins it. Such movie is only meant for DVD.

Watchmen and Doubt

Both get 8/10 from me but for very different reasons. Watchmen was great, just a great take on the superhero genre and something I'd have never seen before which is rare in Hollywood these days. Doubt had probably the best two actors in lead roles but the movie had such a small feel to it. It's worth watching just for the scene where Hoffman and Meryl Streep. Viola Davis and Amy Adams were both awesome too.

Watchmen - Finally got to see it. Pretty good movie, although it was nothing like I expected it. I did like the way it played out in the end even though it took a while to take off. Most of it was back stories and explanation, which isn't bad, but for a whole hour I started to get a little lost in the plot. Ultimately it turned out pretty good, and it was worth the watch.

Oh yeah, what the hell was up with the blue dude's dick being out in the open nearly half of the time he was on screen. That was not cool. At all.

That was definitely what I would call a filler movie. Basically all preparation for the last one. The book was definitely the same but all the rich details made it A LOT more entertaining than the film which was just plain average.

The Soloist - Jamie Foxx & Robert Downey Jr. The triumph of the human spirit over the human condition. Or something like that. Quite watchable, though.
