thought we should start this topic to post every time we buy a DVD.

and maybe the prices too if it was a sale or just cheap


I just received the Seinfeld DVD Gift Set which I preorderer last week from BestBuy. it was 80 dollars and they gave me a $25 gift card to use at bestbuy.com so $65 was cheap

the set is awesome!!!

- Big Trouble in Little China
- Dr. Strangelove

spent a total of €49 on them.

yesterday, for a grand total of: AU$14 each, which is about 8euros, so pretty cheap for over here, most DVDs can be AU$30+

Hakeem, i shall be getting seinfeld boxsets for xmas, rather different to the one in the link you gave unless its a different cover to the ones here,.

I got the Box Set with Seasons 1, 2 and 3 with an original script, Salt & Pepper Shakers, and Playing Cards

not exactly recent, but the last DVD's I got were 'Lost in Translation' & 'Return to Paradise' back in early October. Ordered both online from Amazon.ca

Good to hear, I'm going to buy the set for Christmas.

The last DVD's I bought were Road Trip and Old School.

They've got this $5 DVD bin at Wal-Mart. Most of the stuff is crap, but if you're lucky enough you might find some quality shit.

I got Total Recall for $5 recently.

The last DVD's that I purchased were the Al Pacino Box set:

Scent of a Woman

for only 28 Australian dollars!! Saves me like 25 bucks if I were to buy them all outright.

I once got really excited because I found the original Major League, in wide screen, in one of those bins, but my joy was soon turned to dismay, when I realized that I could hear the DVD in two pieces inside the case and it was the only copy I could find in the bin.

yeah no kidding, I love those bargain bins! I haven't had too much luck looking for DVD's in them, but I usually find good music in the CD bargain bins, really cheap too. Especially if you're into retro, there's always lots there..
