another good one....the royal tenenbaums....very good story....and almost made me cry....i bought, but since its a very sad story...i've only watched it 2 times:(

I hated the Royal Tenenbaums, it is one of the few movies I can't stand. Can't connect to the plot, nor the way it is presented. I just hate it.

I have a DVD burner, so my purchases have gone down a lot from what they were. I only buy 'cream of the crop' movies. Last movie purchased, Goodfellas SE. I've been waiting for Anchorman DVD (Dec 28) for a Long time, and ill buy the collectors set which comes with bonus movie thats made from bloopers/extra and deleted scenes.

Just curious, how many DVD's would you all say you have?

I have about 35 bought movies and 70 (grows by the week) burnt ones:D

hey Hakeem, do you plan on buying every Seinfeld season? Thats why i steer clear of buying TV shows, its just too big a commitment especially for long running shows like Seinfeld and Simpsons. I burned Sopranos, Family Guy, Chappelle's show though. I just got first season of Arrested Development(Y)

I think I probably have about 30, unless you count the Sports Night Set I have as six, instead of one, then it's more like 35.

Ive my DVD collection up at DVDaficionado.com. 156 DVDs so far :p


and about TV series, yep, I do plan to buy all the Seinfeld seasons but I dont usually buy TV series, specially if they're still running.

the only ones I have are Band of Brother, Freaks and Geeks. oh, and I also bought Chappelle's Show but that cause I know its somethign precious :D

but Im changing, I didnt watch Arrested Development last year and now Im hooked with just 3 episodes so far (and I missed the last one :( ) so I might buy that one too.

If we count it like that, then I have about 54 DVDs. I'll probably ask for the Band of Brother DVDs for Christmas. Also, I plan on buying Dodgeball when it comes out on Tuesday. :mrpimp:

I was in the big record shop here downtown on Friday night, and they already had Dodgeball on the shelves. I would have gotten it, if it wasn't $25.99 there. :(

Holy crap, $25.99?!?! :| I'm getting it for $15 at Circuit City Tuesday, they always sell newly released movies at that price.

I dont even pay to see them in theatres, just sneak in like a champ.

Anybody here seen the film 'sideways'? Conan O'brien seemed to love it and Paul Giamatti is awesome in everything.
