When I started on 3 stars I had these problems. Somehow the more I played the more my reflexes changed and I could time it better. I ruled then.
Went to play online and got my ass handed to me on a platter. Lost 8-0 sometimes. Something I observed was people making my players stumble whilst they miraculously strolled on towards my goal to score....so I thought WTF???? I thought I'd overcome it. Obviously not. I noticed the games that I won online...my men didnt make others stumble..I won cos the guy was even worse than me and his men were running around like headless chickens...but I didn't have the power to make people stumble....why WHY!!!!!
So I knew the problem was me....and I upgraded to 5 stars. The wrath of stumble and fumble and bouncing balls was visited upon my men with a vengeance....until I came upon the secret weapon YES!!!!
Now I make the comp stumble and I OWN!!!!
The power of stumble is never mentioned on this forum...those who know it guard it zealously.....those who don't curse and writhe in misery. The more you curse...the more the power is witheld from you. No one would tell me or they would give glib answers. I stumbled upon it
because of accident and a little luck...but most importantly persistence...and a refusal blame my losses on some inexplicable fact and then giving up. Like I said...why could other human players do it to me....but why couldnt I return the favour??? Must be something I haven't learned right?Wow,had some respect for u earlier kingpug because u had some decency in keeping the trash talk down to a minimum and even that the vocabulary you use is pretty childish. But this is all besides the point. Wat i meant as I wanted hard evidence, i'd like to see all the points/laws taken point by point in proven format, thats the only way we could decipher if this is true or not and just because it happens a bunch of times in one game and then none in the three others doesn't mean that the game is shotty.I just played 3 games and none, not one of thse factors came into play,why do say that is? Is it because i love the game so much i'm in denial?no. because thats' how I am,if u dont' trust me then fine, but thats the gawd honest truth.
I've played quite a few games , bout 4 years in ML now and have loved every minute of every game. Are you a computer programmer kingpug? Do u know the parameters that have been put in to create a random flow to this game that is pes4? I'm sure if u are then you should understand that everything is random, just like in real football, u've played it i'm assuming, stumbling,bad touches,goalkeeper errors, speed decrease,speed acceleration,frustration....they're all apart of the game.
This is why these "laws" remind me of a little kid on counter strike complaining that everytime he shoots at someone the other person shoots back and kills him, some factors come into play in thsi case such as the complainer wasn't aiming for the guy in the head, the other guy did and instantly killed him or the other guy was holding down his mouse fire instead of rapidly tapping it like the guy who killed him.
My point is it all has to do with the user and what type of game you play, if bitching about it everytime you see a fault means u're going to make a thread then so be it, like I said earlier u're entitled to ur own opinion and while ur the way u express ur opinion is in short "immature" I get the point u're trying to make. On ur next reply to keep urself from looking like a Carlos*ass, keep it straight and to the point.
Gawd i'm only 19 and I feel I have to babysit some people sometimes. How hard is it to be civil and at the same time get ur point across, talking trash on the internet is one of the most common ways of showing insecurity, so how bout we stop.

I am pissed off obviously, because each time I say the game cheats people say I am **** etc etc, which is not the point and un-true..

Those 2 penalty incidents woulda been a penalty even to the blinded EPL referees, and that tackle woulda been a straight yellow..
But on PRO4 nothing happened, and people have the cheek to say this game is full of realism..
Now, like I say over and over, the gameplay is what makes me play the game, and even so I dont even play it often, 1 game per day, I only enjoy editing the game or playing with my cousin against the CPU..
And its even the same on the PS2, me and my cousin have played about 5 seasons, and we get ripped off for most of the league, we tried to go unbeaten but on the last game it was disgusting and we lost..

It requires more than one simple click to save your replays.....That's why I think most people haven't been arsed to download it IMHO.

The comp can do a tackle from behind whilst you're blitzing towards goal and get only a warning or at most a yellow card. I've only seen the comp getting a red card for a tackle in that situation once or twice in all the time I've played.

And if your talking about the advantage rule, then yes I agree, it needs to be totally reworked as its terrible.
It seems you only get it when it favours the CPU, kinda defeats the purpose of an advantage..

I forgot about the advantage rule - It doesn't exist in this game.
At least.. it doesn't when you have the ball. That's one of the most annoying things in the game.
It's also quite surprising, given that the advantage rule was much better in PES 3.
The percentage I wrote in the top of this thread are made of playing over 40 games in level 6 and over 70 in level 4.
They are quite calculated, but there's a possibility of these not being entirely accurate. there's a 3-4 % margin of error.
Some people wrote that I should know how to play before I "complain". I've already beaten the CPU on level 6 almost 20 times. I've scored some beautifully planned goals. I know how to play the game. I have some of them on replays, if anybody would like to see them.
It seems, however, that some people believe that Konami can do no wrong, and embrace every little flaw as "part of the game".
Konami can do no wrong? They can and they did. PES 4 is not nearly the massive improvement over PES 3 it promised to be.
The annoying thing is that there's no alternative. FIFA sucks even more and TIF is not worth mentioning.
There are plenty of gameplay tweaks that Konami must take under consideration before launching the fifth edition of the game next year.

Even after your percentage listing, i find the game to be very spontanious and still throws up great goals, or moments that i've only ever seen in real life games. Most of your problems i tried to re-create did the reverse for me. for example you say " 85 % " of the time that a player brings you down infront of there goal " ie : the last defender " he will be red carded. well it goes by what ref your using, look at real life. if all calls were the same, then games would be boring. i like the fact that sometimes the computer, or i can do a nasty fail and not even get a card. then i also like the fact that i can just nudge someone and get a red. i find your list to be very pointless, but thank's for taking the time to do it. however if u just play the game and enjoy it for what it is. then you will enjoy your time alot more.
