I disagree with you john2gr.Pro evo 4 is far more realistic for someone who know how football is played.I think that counterattacking is the ultimate weapon in pro 3.But now you have to build up your plays in a more sophisticated manner just like real football. You have to learn for example how to play the offside trap effectively and stuff like that.
I notised that some people have complains about their "N00b" friends who manage to make through balls to easy.Well i say to them that they have to learn how offside trap is played. If you are bored to learn all the movements then change to fifa which is real arcade

I've been given a penalty after being brought down by the keepers hands once or twice, Xbox version though.

Heh better in what???Is it so realistic the way players pass??No way, sometimes it reminds me of Fifa.Or let's say the general lag feeling of the controls (this is gameplay issue, not a graphics chopping issue).Perhaps the rocket speed of the game??There isn't any middle field playing and if you want to play, nyaaaaaaah it's not as satisfying as it was with Pro Evo3.There is already a thread for PES3 vs PES4 and there are my comments in there,so i won't go offtopic. And counterattack is the weapon of PES3?????For gods sake man.Instead our ****y greek leaque simply watch another one, like Premiership. As far as realism goes PES3>PES4>Fifa2005.Now if it is more realistic for some people PES4 then they surely didn't play a lot PES3.

PS: Oh the weapon of PES3 was unscripted gameplay........now put your hand to your heart and say it if you dare for PES4

i agree with golden boy on some of the "laws"

it IS sometimes frustrating when the comp sidesteps 3 of your players as though they are untouchable

and i agree with the stumbling too... i personally dunno how the comp does it but oh boy isnt it irritating and frustrating

oh well no use whining...just get over it and play the game

Umm, wrong. It's exactly vice versa. In Pes3 you could play slow paced build up football if you pleased as for Pes4 it's completely orientated on fast counterattacks, crazy running and ping pong pases. Probably the major Pes4 gameplay drawback for me.
If one does not see this one haven't played Pes3 or We7.

Agree with the previous post. It's 150% all the time and it gets kinda boring to constantly have to press bouttons to get things going, hoping that in the mix a break will develop. By opposite to builiding something.

The games has no acceleration periods since it's impossible for any player to go any faster anyway..,

one thing i agree crosses i never get them...even if i got 2 strikes on 1 defender
and the other is that rarely the cpu gets carded....but i play 6 stars and they cant score on me that easy and i made a couple of times that their keeper has got red card (2-3 times)
