I always wanted to try this game out, so bought PCM 4 early this summer. But my PC can't run it properly, so I've given up so far. But I will try to play it over some time when I get my new computer. A friend of me is working at the biggest PCM web page in Norway and he knows everything about the game, so I can get some tips from him.

Yeah, PCM needs a good pc for full profit =P
So, what team are you guys playing with at the moment? I'm trying to put Valverde in the Tour de France podium by managing Caisse d'Epagne - Illes Ballears

I'm playing with CSC ATM. Won the Giro(Basso) and Vuelta(Sastre) but missed out on the Tour :( . Had a total of 61 victory's in one season a record for me. Hoping to do the same in the new season and this time I am gonna win the tour. My secret(and everyones I guess) is using effort cursor 75-80% at the beginning of the final mountain and watch what happens. :D

When I tried it I used Credit Agricole, simply because Hushovd is there. Guess I will try with CA again with my new PC.

the object of the tour de france is to see who takes the most variety of drugs yeah?

I really hate that ignorant viewpoint...The media love the whole drug taking cyclist story...I remember they were blowing up the whole cyclist drug taking thing when people were first being banned for EPO, even tho at that stage cycling was the only sport in the world being tested for EPO!

Then more recently when that spanish doctor was investigated and had a huge list of sportsmen that had been going to him...the UCI banned all of the cyclists that were on the list pending further investigation. Again the media jumped on the bandwagon, saying cyclists were doping again...The media forgot to mention the numerous, FIFA, NBA and ATP stars also on the list, whose sports governing body did nothing about...

Sorry, forgot to put down my tips:

1. Evans
2. Kloden (really think after Vinos mountain form at Dauphine Kloden will be their man)
3. Sastre

Ferreiro will be watched this year. They wont let him take so much on one stage thinking he isnt a threat!!

For green, Robbie will take it again I think...Hushovd only took it that other year because Robbie was unfairly DQed in one of the early stages and so lost intersest in green and just wanted stage-tho he still nearly got it...

Polka I think Moreau will get again...He has looked better leading up in mountains than ever before, and will go after the polka, since I cant imagine him contending for GC!

Yeah, agree about the doping part. I'm sure it is about or just as worse in other sports, the media just focusses on cycling nowadays.

I'm sorry but aren't you beeing a bit biased with Evans winning the tour. Fair enough, while there's no real favourite for the win he could, but I think there are others who have more quality than Evans, but alright let's see. Kloden? He arrived at +15 minutes or something yesterday in a mountain stage in the Tour of Switzerland, same goes for Sastre.

Seriously, I think Vino will win it. He has a pure ownage team and I think he was only holding himself back in the mountains. He did win two stages in the Dauphine. I hope Menchov will make it to top-3 this year, hopefully he doesn't crack in the final week, like last year.

Green will go to someone like Petacchi or Hushovd. McEwen will win more stages, but I think he won't survive the mountains.

Oh and how about Thomas Dekker for white jersey? I think it's possible after his impressive performance in the mountains and time trials a few months earlier.
