I hope we don´t loose Masch or Alonso, but i really want us to sign a winger or someone that can backup Torres upfront, the matter is that i´m sure Rafa wont spend another big sum this transfer window unless we sell Alonso or Masch.
Not as much as an effect as Figo. Owen was never truly loved by Liverpool fans, we always had more time for people like Fowler/Gerrard/Carra. I'm not entirely sure why, but despite his glory years there was never TRUE love for Owne, he always seemed so distant. Figo was idolised by Barcelona.
Also, it's not as if Man Utd have poached him from Liverpool directly, he's had a number of years in the wastelands since.

Actually Carragher and Macmanaman were Everton fans, Gerrard wasn't (but there is a pic with him in an Everton kit). Owen only supported Everton because his father played for them. Then again most of the players who supported Everton or Liverpool ended up playing for the other team.
