Some more shocking misses by Andy Carroll. Carroll is the new Torres.

I dont think AVB is such a bad idea, but I doubt he'll want to come straight back to English football and also almost none of your team are AVB players. I still fancy AVB for Inter.

Missing is one thing, while the people still backing him to come good is another, which is what pisses me more. Awful player really. Can't say how badly I want him gone now!

Since January 11, we have signed nine first-team players and we are very pleased with the way it went.

Say what?!

I'm just unimpressed with everything Kenny does, he'll always be an Anfield legend, but this time around I tend to disagree with almost all the decisions he's made. The only enforced problem which we couldn't have seen coming is losing Lucas for the majority of the season. He was our rock last year, and let all the other midfielders get forward.

He is a legend and that is part of his problem - he is stuck in the mentality of his playing days and his earlier managerial spells and still manages like it's 1995 when players like Stewart Downing and Andy Carroll would be gold dust, casual racism is fine and the way to change the form of a team is to give the players a good shouting and cut their bacon sandwich rations.

I'm prepared to give him one more season. See who he brings in and for how much over summer.

Maybe, but I'll remind you he spent £40m combined on Stewart Downing and Jordan Henderson last summer.

I think Comolli is a bigger problem than Kenny, but neither are the right fit for the club right now. And your team is like a Tony Pulis team.

Carroll and Hendersen has sucked so far for Liverpool but they're young. Downing was always overrated and will always be. How can you pay 20 millions for a player like that?

Totally agree, surely it's not correlation that Spurs' worst run in ages coincided with him being involved. He leaves and now Spurs are making strides.

That's the worst thing have ever said.

Always said that, I was massively disappointed when he showed up in a Liverpool shirt and so far, he's done very little to change my opinion.

What a crazy game of football! Almost forgot how winning felt like prior to this match! :D
Big Andy and Hendo starring for us made it further comical.
As for Maxi "tap-in" Rodriguez, well, he's just the right man at the right place.

I must admit when we first got Rodriguez I wasn't too impressed, he seemed too slow for the English game but he has adapted well. I'm slightly worried about the outcome of Saturday's game when we've got Brad Jones in goal. I think the second penalty more than shows exactly what he's capable of! Hopefully, he proves me wrong, has a stormer and almsot single handedly puts us into the final.

I don't think Comolli was the guy who wanted to buy all English players. I think Kenny or upper management asked for that. Comolli then identified ****ty players, but my point is that I don't know if he was really in love with any of those signings; I think maybe he saw them as the best of a bad situation.

If you look at his track record at Tottenham, he certainly was not afraid of paying huge transfer fees, but he scouted well beyond Britannia.

Pretty much sums up our ill fated season:

It was off side but it was also TERRIBLE defending from Carragher.

And Carroll just missed an absolute sitter. Again. (H)
