It was off side but it was also TERRIBLE defending from Carragher.

And Carroll just missed an absolute sitter. Again. (H)

It was terrible from Agger too. The problem was that it was on both player's weaker foot so neither wanted to clear it.

Ah well, all went well in the end (H)

EVEN if you dont get any European football at all, if you win two cups in a season can that really be considered a bad season?

Oh and tits.
You can call it a bad season if you consider the money spent but then you have to look at the players they have spent on and think it is not that bad really. If they can fix their recruitment policy maybe they can get back to somewhere. "King" Kenny might not be very good but sacking him after winning two trophies would be a bit harsh imo....but then again Mcleish won a trophy last season and Aston Villa with the players they have are awful.

Nice, I've still never been to the new Wembley. You gonna try and get to the final?

Oh yeah, I forgot about that, and as Champions League football was never really realistically on the cards this season, if you win the FA cup it will almost be the best possible season outcome - two cups out of two entered and EUROPA league qualification - all despite the humiliating league finish. ****.

I went too the England friendly versus Ghana and that had a fantastic atmosphere so if you're getting that kind of atmosphere in a friendly you know the stadium must have some great acoustics.

Personally I think a League Cup and FA Cup would be succesful season, sure our league form hasn't been the greatest but we've only had part of one summer to actually put a team together. Again, I don't think anyone would argue that we've paid over the odds for players, frankly I think getting rid of Kenny would be a massive mistake, you've got to allow someone to impliment an ideology. That doesn't happen in a year, you need a couple of seasons. If we get someone in now, they'll no doubt want to ship out people like Downing and Adam and then we'll be back at sqaure one all over again.

What do you want? 50k to both clubs, and then 40 for the non-partisans who want to watch a final in Wembley, makes sense.

FA cup final is an event so there should be plenty of tickets for the neutrals, I would think a third each would be fairer.

But my understanding is that the clubs get the takings from their allocation whereas the FA get it from the neutral tickets, and those massive Wembley building debts wont repay themselves ;)

Isn't a lot of that made up by the stupid Club Wembley stuff? Where people bought 'season tickets' and then never turn up for anything. It is a bit of a joke really, Wembley's financial repayment plan, that is.

5k more for each one? You're fine, it's not like ALL of those 40k will got to neutrals, there's lots of fans who get neutral seats.

It'll be damn hard to get a ticket regardless; unless you want to wander about outside Wembley on the day with £800 in your pocket.
