We have had a few of those since 2006:
Harry Kewell - perhaps he was over-rated?
Joe Cole - I really wish he could have done something good here. He was a bust after Chelsea.
Raul Meireles - Chelsea stole him and he's rotted away since then
Glen Johnson - still here but getting old fast

Our current style of play suits tiki-taka. Not crosses. Suarez can't score from headers. Sturridge can, but has not been his strength. Our two CBs are too scared of moving up the field so they rely on long-shots to score their goals.

Not having decent wide players allows the good teams to force you inside and crowd you out forcing Suarez to barely get involved in those matches, they don't have to only cross either, even Barcelona play with more width

5-3 final for Liverpool. We turned it on 3-1 after we saw your post.

The problem is that our defense is very inconsistent. We have given up too many goals to poor teams. We should have won this game 4-1 or 5-1.

Oh, and I would welcome Peter Crouch back to Liverpool FC any day of the week. Peter Crouch is one of the most under-rated players in the EPL since 2005.

Team Captain
Aston Villa is playing really well. Your defense needs a bit of sorting out. The second goal should not have gone in.

Is Sterling your right winger? He is bad compared to the rest of the team. He reminds me of Pennant or Kieran Richardson when they were at his stage but he may go on and get better.

Starting XI
They managed to pull one goal back at least. Should be an interesting second half.

In my opinion Kolo Toure is a liability in their defense, where are Sahko or Agger? Injured?

I actually think Liverpool have a great 4-2-3-1 midfield; I think Lucas and Allen complement each other well, and I think it also frees up space for someone creative like Coutinho.
