There are rumours about Cisse moving to Marseille again. Hes denied all knowledge of it, which is good.

it'll be good news that cisse is staying at least till the summer, cause we need all the available strikers that we have for cover... since morienties just got injuried again...

Amika's LFC 2005 year review...

since today is the last day of the 2005... i would like to see all the red fans their own season review posted here... i'll start with mine 1st... :ewan:

2005 EPL review.
it's been a very strange year, started off badly with a defeat on new year day against chelski, not to mention the handball in the box that wasn't spotted by the ref... our league form was horrible, can't even get a string of result at all, it's even hurt more as everyone could see that Everton was also dropping points and we can't capitalise on that also.. some of the most painful memories was those defeats at crystal palace and arsenal(we just reached the CL final).

The start of the new 05/06 season was a totally different situation, with a few new signing, reina, momo sissoko and crouchy has improved the quality of the team as a whole. crouchy goal drought seem to be the talking point of the new season for the press and the fans, and to me i still think that he is an above average player but his work rate was never in question the only thing was his finishing... but i'm glad that he has finally hit form when it's matter the most that's the festive season fixtures and to get a 11 matches clean sheet was also a great achievament, and the 9 matches winning steak is also joy for all red fans throughout the world and hopefully they can make it to 10 matches later today to end the year on a high note.

2005 Champions League Review
what can i say.... i'm speechless actually... what we can't beat teams in the league like crystal palace but we are able to beat the teams like juventus, chelsea (the famous mouriho's goal from the kop) and AC Milan in the CL... the CL final was something all the red fans will never forget for a long long time.. the way we fight back from 3-0 down at half time will be forever be remembered... dudek's double save right at the end of extra time.. and his penalties saves at the shot out..

The 1st half of the final was not a present viewing for any red fans, i remember waking up to the match as i switch on the tele, Maldini score Milan's 1st goal... :( then when we sort of settle down and got some attack on Milan's goal crespo scores Milan's 2nd goal and then a wonder pass by Kaka result in a 3rd and crespo's second... all seem to be lost... my hp was receiving sms after sms from my fellow reds mate all saying it's all over... my brother-in-law who is also a red actually switch off the tele and go back to sleep, and he only found out the next morning... another friend of mine also switch off his tele and went to the washroom..*ahem*.. i personally said to myself.. i'll give them 10 more minutes of the 2nd half before i'll go back to bed if they can't score then i don't think they will... luckily they paid me back for the confident i put on them and stevie g's 1st goal seem to kick start a mad 6 minutes... after that goal i called my friend and told him it's 3-1 now... he said ok... not really excited at all.... then 2 minutes later smicer scored and i called him again it's 3-2 now.. u better switch on ur tele... :D which he did... and the rest as it said are history.... the home coming was something special as well...

would like to see ewan's year end review... as he was actually there in istanbul.... :ewan:

Is it me or Cisse has not been the same since that broken leg injury ? For some reason, he is not as beasty as he used to be.

Hearts haven't wasted any time in moving to land new players as Liverpool kid Darren Potter is on the brink of agreeing a four-and-a-half year deal.

The Republic of Ireland Under-21international spent yesterday having scans carried out at an Edinburgh hospital and was last night locked in talks with the Tynecastle hierarchy.

Potter featured heavily in the Reds' successful Champions League qualifying campaign at the start of the season and is likely to have come to Romanov's attention playing against FBK Kaunas.

Despite being sidelined until the end of January with a broken bone in his back, Hearts are pushing ahead with the signing of Potter who could be joined by Anfield team-mate Francis Smith,a 19-year-old midfielder.

How can you expect someone too come back from a broken leg with a "I don't give a ****" mentality.

I ripped my ankle ligaments 2 years ago, if I go for a sliding tackle or anything which includes that ankle its always in the back of my mind about what happened to me before.

Liverpool boss Rafael Benitez will be handed a massive transfer kitty in the summer as a result of the £30million kit deal with adidas.

The kit manufacturer will pay Liverpool £10million-a-year over the next 3 years with a a further option of a 10-year deal once that deal concludes in 2009.

adidas and Reebok will merge in a £2.1billion deal later this year and if they take up the 10-year option in 2009, Liverpool should net around £130million as a result. For now though the club can budget for at least £30million and the majority of that will be handed to Rafa for player purchases.

Although the deal will be welcomed by many fans, it's worth reminding you that Nike pay Manchester United £23million-a-year to be associated with them. With Liverpool finally on the up though, it will be interesting to see what happens in 2009.

The Sun printed a picture of the supposed fake Liverpool adidas kit today claiming that it was our kit for next year. I hope so, that was one nice kit.

I would actually splash out on that top when it comes out. I bought the Reebok one at the start of last season, it keeps pulling so I hardly ever wear it.
