I'd be glad with a 1-0 mate. 1-0 or 10-0....a win is a win :ewan:

Id be happy with it too,but what I meant was that Liverpool should take the confidence to the next match, and consolidate in the 2nd position.Id be satisfied with a 1-0 as well.

Chelsea and Liverpool each have two players in Uefa's team of the year with Blues boss Jose Mourinho voted coach.

Chelsea's Petr Cech and John Terry were named in the side alongside Reds duo Steven Gerrard and Luis Garcia.

Five clubs were represented in the side overall with players from AC Milan, Barcelona and Juventus also featuring.

Cafu, Carles Puyol, Paolo Maldini, Ronaldinho, Pavel Nedved, Samuel Eto'o and Andriy Shevchenko made up the rest of the Uefa line-up.

Chelsea boss Mourinho beat Liverpool's Champions League-winning manager Rafael Benitez to the coach of the year vote to scoop the award for the third season running.

The Premiership holders had more than any other club in contention ahead of the team of the year selection with eight players in the running.

However, Didier Drogba, Arjen Robben, Frank Lampard, Michael Essien, Asier del Horno and Ricardo Carvalho all missed the final cut.

England captain David Beckham and Arsenal striker Thierry Henry were also nominated. The team was decided by users of Uefa's website.

Great to see gerrard get above lampard in the uefa voting thing andwell done to garcia.
We are playing awsome at the moment and hope we dont slip up. The only thing i dont like about is our midfield. actualli its AWSOM but the formation of it. We really need to sign a right winger and put gerrard in sissokos spot becasuse IMO he still looks abit shaky. Im not saying his crap, hes a wikid player and all but he doesn't seem like a first team player liverpool would have. Well thats just my thoughts but i reckon bring simao in now.

another great article from paul tomkins on stevie G!!! Below is the cut out from the article...

It is Gerrard's physical strengths - pace, athleticism, and considerable height - that make him such a phenomenal all-rounder, when added to his natural ability with a football. Souness, while the undoubted paragon of central midfielders, could not match Gerrard's all-round effectiveness, in that the Scot could only really play that one role, whereas his Scouse successor has played - and won rave reviews - in nearly every position for the club.

Centre back, right midfield, right back, left back, the lone striker, and just off the main forward: the positions Gerrard has played for Liverpool. With the exception of a few brief appearances late in games as a striker in 2004/05, he has excelled in every role.

I was at Villa Park for a game in 2000, when Gerrard was forced to move to left-back in an emergency. It was as though he'd played there his entire career. In the 1999/00 Mersey derby at Anfield, he played right back, with quite stunning results at both ends of the pitch. That's the versatility of the man.

Frank Lampard is an excellent all-round midfielder, but there's not one area of his game where he outranks Gerrard; Lampard only gets the attacking midfield role for England because, unlike Gerrard, he can't excel in other positions. Despite their canniness, neither Patrick Vieira nor Roy Keane could pass the ball 60-yards like Gerrard, or shoot so dangerously from 30.
