Kuijt's a great player. His workrate makes him so good. He scores 20+ in the Dutch league, most of them because of his great mentality. He also makes other players play better. BUT he has to be given an important role in the team. He has to be made one of the leaders of the team, not just the striker that finishes it off. He has to be given a much bigger role than say Van Nistelrooy or Henry. I doubt he will be able to work well together with Gerrard.

Yeah... I'm an insomniac with Liam and watch those Late night/Early morning matches. It's usually matches like Feyenoord v Utrecht, or Feyenoord v AZ. He seems to score in each of the matches and set a couple or more up. Looks like a great player.

But, if we buy him, I still think we would need a fast-off-the-shoulder striker.

Crouchie had a good game it seems. Cisse got one for himself, and the 2nd goal was gold. Glad to see our strikers finding the net.

WOOHOO! another great win by more then a one goal deficit. I knew we'd hit our running streak again and whats even better is the rest of our opponents are the averages as we have already played our season games against the top premierships side. Savouring this Everton match this week is gonna be cool. But first up Birmingam, cumon Benitez this is you chance to get us some mroe silverware this season! WE CAN DO IT!
Btw see hwo fustrated Kewell got because of Cisses hungriness for goals. Thats what you get, dont feed your pet for weeks and once you do they keep going at it, that was cisse, we left him on the bench to long, he scores a penalty and became a hog to prove himself to benitez even if it meant denying kewell 2 clear goal chances. Ahhhhhh Cisse and the newcastle fans they love eachother....
