now seriously... Ronaldo is a great player, and he wins matches on his own... but he's not the player I'd like to see in the Liverpool shirt... we need someone who actually cares about stuff... Ronaldo has already won almost everything in all levels, he wouldn't stick his leg to a 50-50 in a million years...

we need someone who wants to prove something, and with the right attitude to do so... not someone who is like "my records speak for themselves"

Well in! We've already got Fabio Aurelio the Brazilian leftback from Valencia, on a free that. Wouldnt wan't Warnock and Traore anywhere near the side, unless we're 5-0 up with 5 seconds to go on the clock. I'd like to see us having an attack made up of Yakubu, Kuyt, Crouch and Defoe. and maybe the midget

I've watched him play as much as I could ever since we were linked with him. Lad's a monster and not just in terms of looks, but he reminds me of a younger Shearer; obviously with more pace, and the sheer bloody mindedness to score with any appendage of his body. Not just the penalty box poacher a la RvN but he scores a fair few from outside the box, headers, tap-ins...the likes. Couple that with his ability to hold the ball and link up play (plays right wing for the Cloggers and still scores), he'd be a right fit I'd reckon.

Only seen him play on the NT, but leading the league in goals and assists for three consecutive seasons is a good enough CV for a forward IMO . . .

Hans, I didn't realize his injury problems were as atrocious as Woodgate's although if ya've seen the way we take our setpieces we'd do well just to keep him fit to take those :p

Seen a bit of Kuyt and he looks very good to me...Yakubu i would love but Middlesborough would want too much money...I can only see Cisse going out of the strikers and Kuyt coming in. As for RW? God only knows..

I've watched him play a couple of times for Feyenoord, i saw some footage and i've watched Holland vs Ecuador, in which he scored. His record is great aswell.

yeah, Fabio Aurelio has had a few injuries recently... not so sure about his fitness now...

I would wish the first brazilian to play for Pool would be a bit better than him though... as for Kuyt... yeah, I'd like to see him playing for Liverpool

I get up for work at 5:30 every morning Gav, about that time Channel 5 has Dutch Football on most mornings, the majority of the time it is Feyenoord too.
So I've seen him play about 18 times over the past year or so. I'd just regurgitate what Ewan said if I have anything to say about him, he just seems to hold Feyenoord together, links everything up for them.
