did you see the look on kewells face at the final whistle he looked pissed off. He had the choice of arsenal, manchester united, chelsea, liverpool, and his decision has come back to haunt him.

Does he have a realistic chance of trophies in 2-3 years.

I have to admit though liverpool have some good youngsters, they definately lacked owens cutting edge

Great result for us, Liverpool were so unlucky, Heskey should've done better at the end, his one and only chance on goal and he choked.

You read my mind, he looked like he had a sulk on him.

Why do you think Liverpool need a striker? Don't you realise Michael Owen and Milan Baros play for them, only they're injured?

i think i know why poll didnt award a penalty, im sure most referees watch previous matches so i think he thought that sinama had dived to get a penalty and that it would be a suspicion if he got consecutive penalties.... (theory,i am not saying sinama is a diver).... forlan and the whole team played well today... unlucky for liverpool, but thats been the case for all matches that finished at home 2-1 in favour of the away side...

LOL

Or maybe, JUST MAYBE, he was, I dunno, upset that his team (the team he supported as a kid) just lost.

I'm just guessing here, maybe it's standard practice for players to smile after they lose.....

bring on blackburn after the international break and then panathiakos and bring on chelski!!!! i dun know why you liverpoolians critisizing heskey.... im sure the pitch was slippery....

well.. what can i say... a series of bad misses and some bad goalkeeper cost us again...

this is how i see it... i surely don't know why we lost this match again... we should at least got a point out of it... dudek should have save the 2nd goal...

the turning point of the game was the introduction of sinama and le tellec, it was sinama that created our 1st goal.. and we have been robbed again.. it should have been a penalty.. if you look at the replay again sinama has already taken the ball away from ferdinand and howard before being caught by ferdinand...

what can i say about heskey....:kader: how can he missed that chance to grab an equalise right at the end... :f***: and don't forget about murphy chance.. but good tackle by silverstre...

all in all we have now lost to all the top 3 teams at anfield now... the title chase is gone... our main target now is to get into CL... but i'm sure we will get the right balance sooner or later... keep the faith my fellow scousers....

oh what the **** are you talking about, just shut up will ya...

i cannot ****in believe we didn't score in the last 10 minutes :kader: So many good chances, arghhh...... Emile :nape:

I didn't watch the first half, but the 2nd half seemed like we were creating all the chances in the world, while Man U created a few but capitalized on them.

howard was lucky not to concede a second goal.... maybe barthez should have played...:crazyboy: what a match, again like last season, a thriller in the final minutes..... liverpool have got exciting youngsters, but they need the whole team to ensure a CL spot.... liverpool have yet to face man city(losing 1-0 to leicester), birmingham, newcastle and etc... so it will be a challenge for liverpool...

Weird game in the end. I thought we owned Liverpool for most in the second half. Scoring two good goals. After that it looked like we were cruising, but because of some disputable diciscions by the -apart from that excellent- referee, the atmosphere at Anfield and the arrogance of ManUtd's players Liverpool launched a blistering attack. Scoring a good goal, and squandering at least two good opportunities, becasue ManUtd's defence suddenly seemed nowhere. So based on that Liverpool perhaps deserved a draw. But on the other hand, we controlled in the first half without being dangerous, and in the second half we scored two good goals.

Anyway good result for us, now a win over Chelsea and we have done well playing our main contenders.
