yeah, me too. What a ******* addictive game, man. I've been playing it for four hours a day, everyday since I got my sticky palms on it.

I'm currently running my franchise with ATL and I'm into my 6th season. We're 20million under the cap, I drafted one of the best backs in the league a season ago and he's rapidly growing into being an allstar (90 in overall rating, 89 in speed, 88 in breaking tackles, he catches well too) My O-line is solid.....it consists of fairly young players (oldest being 28), my D-line is rather weak, Keith Brooking did me wrong by retiring after 12 seasons without any injury concerns or nothing and he wanted 14million a season to be persuaded out of retirement (close to 900k a game) I've had problems with this ****er before and he strong-armed me in the last contract negotiations so I wasn't gonna get raped again and I told him straight up in the meeting that I wasn't having his **** and I let 'em retire....retire at a fairly young age with an overall rating of 92......goddamnit! Anyway, my receiving core is top class, as are my cornerbacks and safeties (most of 'em being draft picks of mine....except for the fillers, of course) and, and......did I tell you about my SuperBowl win two seasons ago? We pulled off a Carolina type season and actually won the whole thing......woof

Anyone know how much Madden will retail for after taxes? I might have to trade one of my games in to cover the cost

Probably about $52-$53, somewhere in between there or slightly more.

i can't wait for this game to come out. It'll be expensive but I got espn last year and it was a huge mistake. I love the stuff that you can do with the stadium, the staff, and the contracts and all that stuff (I wish they got the guys who make the career mode to help the guys who make FIFA). FIst thing is I'm gonna get Airizona and make some money to move them to a different city

I think I'll be getting it on Thursday or Friday. The first thing I'm gonna do when I get it is go to practice mode and practice against the CPU on All Madden, then proceed to franchise mode and start off with the Giants. I'm gonna swiftly deal with Warner by either trading him for a mid to late first round pick or a high second rounder, if that doesn't work, I'm cuttin' his ass and going with that Bachelor fruit as my backup and Eli as my starter. I'm also gonna shop around for a DT, ILB and a Tackle.....If I can't find any decent players from any of those positions, I'm gonna trade Strahan at the end of the season for#1 overall pick, a 3rnd first overall pick and probably a fourth rounder aswell (most likely to the Retardinals)

Warner's only on a one year contract and is way better than Eli, why play a rookie who is just as slow and not as good?

You can't get a first rounder for Warner.

You can't get the #1 pick for a 33 year old Strahan, much less the 1, 4, and a 4th rounder. A mid first rounder is what you'll get at the MOST. The most important thing in terms of trade value is potential, not current ability, meaning age is HUGE. Strahan is very old.
